Wonderful old charm but with updates. I had a hard time reviewing this hotel, because the staff was very friendly, making me want to rank it higher. The room was clean, bathroom was updated (though the shower-head was much too short even for me at 5'4), and the bed was in need of replacement. The only real issue we had...

Absolutely great stay at this place stayed over the St Patricks day for 3 nights and was surprisingly impressed with this hotel. The room was very nice and the shower was also great, the breakfast in the morning was absolutely spot on definitely worth getting if there is an option to pay extra before you book hotel, most definitely worth...

Enjoyed a one night break with dinner in the restaurant, staying in one of the Golfing suites. Everywhere you look, the hotel has benefitted from investment. From little things such as the toiletries to the big things such as furnishings, décor and the gardens. Staff are very friendly and helpful, food was excellent and the service impeccable. This really is...

This is a lovely place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. Tip, avoid the shower and use the bath but there's only hot water. Don't book if you want to be in the heart of Dublin but it is a lovely place to stay. It's clean , comfortable and quiet. Great hotel. Exactly the same as the pictures....

We've had lunch here many times before. Today we had sandwiches and 1 portion of chips with tea. This was followed by one coffee and one desert. Sandwiches were nice and well presented. Staff were cordial and efficient and as usual the surroundings were relaxing and homely. The desert was a disappointment as a hard meringue with cream and strawberries...

We were a group of 7, all in our 60's. Stayed 2 nights. Wonderful hotel! It is out of town, so if you do not have transport, you will not have many options. There is a shopping mall and grocery store about a mile from the hotel. There is one pub about 1/2 a mile away. That being said, the...

Stayed here due to it's proximity to the airport. It's in the perfect location to enjoy some tranquillity while being located only a 15 min (easy) drive to the airport. The best part of our stay was the food. We ate in the Peacock restaurant. It was delicious and the proportions were enormous. One dish could feed two! The room...

We wanted a hotel outside the city so we could take public transit into town. This hotel qualifies, but the train is NOT a 10 minute walk as advertised - it is a 30 minute walk. Bus is closer and runs more often, but is a 45 minute ride into the heart of Dublin. Site advertises wi-fi, but that is...
