I booked here on a Wednesday afternoon for that night, as had been on the road all week and needed a break from driving. Paid 71euro for bed and breakfast. Checked in at 7pm without any problems and was given room 121 in the studio which is seperate to the main hotel beside the leisure centre. There was noise from... More

Just off the phone from the hotel, its only up the road so every Christmas eve its a family tradition to have afternoon tea here. A tradition that will not be happening this year! We are a large party of 15 adults and a few children, the lady on reception informed me that afternoon tea this year will be 39.50... More

I didn't notice until the next morning because the room was so dark and badly lit and we arrived late, but there was stains on the bed. When I said it to the receptionist, she pawned it off as a problem with the launderette. Whoever was supposed to change the bed clothes didn't. And I know that because when I... More

Not the cleanest hotel we ever stayed in. Pillows and towels had marks of dirt on them. Leisure centre is even worse. Pool was extremely dirty. Walking area looked like it wasn't cleaned in a few days. Room was ok but ver cramped. Customer service wasn't the best.

The hotel is very nice, reasonably priced. The restaurant and bar are lovely. Rooms are decent, but difficult to regulate the temperature. Giant perk is the gym and pool. Grounds are incredible. Gets busy with diners, conferences and weddings. Might be a strain for regular visitors. Location suits having a car. If not, taxis will be pricey to center city.... More

Situated in Lucian in a long drive way leading into it you would easily forget ur in Dublin city. The building is stunning inside and out. The food was amazing, very tasty and good prices. Staff were lovely the only let down was the leisure centre was small and dirty but everything else made up for it

My husband and I recently booked accomodation at this hotel for a friend's wedding. When booking I asked specifically what time check in was as the wedding ceremony was set to commenced at 2:15 (originally), I was informed check in would be from 2pm. On arrival, at 2pm, a voice grunted at me to tell me check in would not... More

The hotel is amazing from the second you enter the gates which opens up to a long drive. The main Hotel and grounds are amazing. The only downside is the leisure centre which is small and not very clean. The pool is very small and not the cleanest. I would've enjoyed my stay a lot more if I'd never seen... More

Had a lovely meal here with family. The ambience was just lovely. Old fashioned feel to the rooms and decoration. Saw one of the rooms, wasn't staying there. It looked very cosy with a huge bed!the meal was great and one of our group chose from the bar menu as he didn't see anything he liked on the early bird.... More
