Just spent a very pleasant stay in Jackson's Hotel. Welcome was very warm, room excellent . Had cream tea on arrival as part of deal which was beautiful. A wonderful evening meal with a great choice on the menu. Room was very clean and bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and choice was vast. Irish breakfast (small) was...

We stayed here on 6th March (3 X Double Rooms) as a birthday treat for my mum and paid €64 per room on a room only basis. We were not made aware of the fact that the hotel is currently being refurbished and only became aware of the fact after we had registered, paid and were trying to check in!...

A party of 16 of us booked last weekend at a very reasonable rate which included 2 nights b+b, dinner and a cream tea. We were all accommodated well, check in even though we were early was seamless. I stayed in a triple room (226) which was massive, 2 double beds, 2 single beds and 2 bathrooms. We used this...

Had I known that the hotel was being refurbished I would not have booked this hotel. Bedrooms were clean but looked old and dated to the early 90s. Main restaurant and bar was not available and had to use a small function room for bar area and conference centre for breakfast.

Be warned. Quite the worst hotel I have ever experienced. It is undergoing refurbishment building works which were not referred to when the booking was made. The standard of service was dreadful and the quality of the food provided was really awful. As an example of the service offered we ordered a bottle of wine and some water at dinner....

Not a great Experience at all appreciate renovations but we weren't expecting the residents bar to represent something out of shameless Food was mediocre at best and the only Irish hotel I've ever stayed at with no potato / soda bread at breakfast Wouldn't recommend

First thing to say that the hotel is wonderfully located just of the main road. And a stones throw to the GAA. Ideally for this Dublin suppoter. When we arrived at the hotel are room wasn't ready but they took our luggage until the room was prepared. We set off for the match in which Dublin were robbed of a...

We had an awful stay here in the hotel and would not recommend it. This is a below par hotel and nowhere near 4 star. Our experience from start to finish was awful. The meal in particular was terrible too.
