A family run Park in the heart of West CorkSexton's award winning family caravan & camping park has been welcoming guests for over 45 years. One of if not the oldest sites in the Country... Many of our guests return year after year, surely our highest recommendation...... Located amidst green rolling countryside, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Outstanding beaches within minutes drive, also bustling Clonakilty town, famous for music, old fashioned Timoleague, with its historic abbey, Courtmacsherry - a picture postcard resort offering sea angling, boat rentals, family activities, sandy coves and amazing walks.Free WiFi. Breakfast available. Groups / Clubs welcome. Playground/Football pitch provided for children. Camper's kitchen with kettle & microwave. Camper's Sitting room on site.Recommended by ANWB, ACSI, Alan Rogers, Guide de Routard, Camping Ireland

Visited in August 2023 while cycling through Cork & Kerry. Wonderfully welcoming staff, especially Elaine who was very accommodating and despite them being unexpectedly cash-only, didn't force me to ride back down to the village to get cash the evening I arrived. I decided to take an extra day here due to the impending Storm Betty, and due to the forecasted strong winds and high rainfall Elaine took pity and found a way to put me in one of their mobile homes for the night. I rarely find campsite staff/owners to be so warm and friendly, let alone to go out of their way for customers the way they did here. Thoroughly recommended, and I'd go back there in a heartbeat if I were in the area again. Thanks again Elaine, you're a star!

Love, love, love this place. I have been a few times and it's one of my favourite campsites in Ireland. Elaine, Alanna and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel at home, give advice and help in any way they can. I cannot recommend this campsite enough. We were there during Storm Betty and everyone at Sextons was so kind, helpful and supportive. Looking forward to returning in 2024.

Our family two adults and two kids stayed here over the August Bank Holiday weekend. What a fantastic site. It exceeded my expectations. The site is immaculate and so quirky. Beautiful campsite with lovey facilities. My kids loved the little indoor chill out room with many games and books. The park was brilliant. The kids literally spent the whole weekend there. The campsite had a lovely vibe. There is a food truck on-site and also a coffee truck. And in the evenings an ice cream truck would come in which was a lovely treat for the kids. Also there was a mini disco for the kiddies and Zumba which was great fun. The host Elaine was just so lovely I popped into reception on my way out to get a few bits in the shop and had a lovely chat with her. She even told me to make sure to tell the kids to pop in for a lollipop before we left. I can see why this site is so popular. Great clean campsite Fantastic facilities Kids said it was the best park on a campsite they have been on so far this year and we have done about 15 campsites Highly recommend and a credit to Elaine and her team for the fantastic hospitality. We will definitely be back.

We camped in Sexton's for 4 nights mid-August. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Most importantly, our kids (8, 6 and 3) had the most fun in Sextons compared to the many other campsites in Ireland we've camped in. The location is amazing, very close to beaches, Clonakilty, Timolegue and many historic sites. The facilities based on the grounds of a charming farmhouse were immaculate. Elaine and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back and I'd highly recommend this camp site.

We are just back after a fantastic week in Sextons Caravan and Camping Park, despite the poor weather none of us wanted to leave. It is such a lovely, well managed and friendly site. Elaine and all the staff could not have been more helpful. The facilities are spotless, lovely toilet and shower blocks, a camper kitchen and a lovely cosy sitting room with games and comfortable seating and a great playground. And so close to beautiful beaches and lovely towns and villages. My 7 year old made so many friends and was so happy playing with them in the playground. We will definitely be going back for a longer stay next time.

Just stayed 4 nights at Sexton’s, close to Clonakility. We have 3 kids ages 13, 11 and 9. We had an absolute ball in this family run campsite. The day we arrived, owner Elaine gave us a warm welcome and a detailed overview of the local attractions and adventure activities which was very helpful. There is so much to do nearby eg. West Cork Secret (our highlight), Smugler’s Cove, Rosscarbery water park and many beautiful beaches. The campsite is well run, immaculately clean with hot showers, laundry facilities and a kitchen for campers to use. There was also a playground for kids to kick a ball and hang out in the evening. Highly recommend this campsite and will definitely be back!

Friendly staff, nice facilities and loads going on. When we were there, there was a food van and an ice cream van every night. The camping pitches are close to the shower and toilet blocks which are good quality. Great location to explore the wild atlantic way and West Cork.

Just home from an amazing stay in Sextons. The facilities are spotless and staff can’t do enough to help, always met with a smile! Fantastic food truck and coffee van on site, the icecream van was brilliant for the kids. Zumba was fantastic as was the sky high disco, enjoyed by both kids and adults! We can’t wait for our next visit to Sextons! It really is worth a trip, absolutely fantastic all round! Well done Elaine and team!!

Just back after our staycation at Sextons campsite.. We spent the bank holiday weekend here. Where do I start, this campsite is the most tranquil place on earth. An excellent family run campsite. We felt so safe here, very well spaced out pitches and spotlessly clean. Each morning the coffee truck served fresh coffee and pancakes and the food truck serves yummy street food from early morning also.. The most amazing beaches all within 10 mins drive from Sextons. It's an ideal location for a base to tour west cork. I have already booked in for 3 weeks time and we cannot wait to go back Thanks a million guys stay safe.
