I went to Sextons in Timoleague for my usual camping holiday again this summer but ended up staying 6 weeks. I can honestly say every day was an adventure, the beaches are second to none as you will see in my photos. I always say Sextons is a great place to stay because your never far from a blue flag beach, restaurants, walks and entertainment. The Sexton family and the ladies who work there will offer you so much information on what's around every corner and believe me every corner is worth a look. I think my photos show how special West Cork really is. The photos were taken on Owenahincha beach 20 minutes drive from Sextons. Inchydoney beach 15 minutes drive from Sextons. Dunworley beach 12 minutes drive from Sextons. Simons cove 15 minutes drive from Sextons. Sheep's cove also known as Nuns cove 15 minutes drive from Sextons.

This site is perfect as base for exploring the Clonakilty area . There is so much to discover! Elaine, Mag and the Rest of the team are nothing but lovely. They offer any support one might need and give great tips for trips and food in the region. Facilities are clean and arranged with an eye for details and feel good atmosphere. We came for two nights and stayed for four. Highly recommended for all sorts of visitors. Thanks Elaine for all your kindness. We will come back, should we ever be in the region again.

Pleasant site with very friendly and helpful owners. All the facilities were clean and everything worked but would be nice to have a few more showers. Would also be nice to have a bit more equipment in the kitchen area and a few more items in the shop

Spent 6 nights here in July, 2 adults and 4 kids (4 - 13). Lovely spot, spotless facilities, great host (Elaine) and something which I think is very important is that there were great fellow campers. The location is great just a quick hop to Clonakilty, Timoleague and CourtMacsherry (where there is a water sports school for the kids. They had a great food truck there mornings and evening, a bit overpriced but was tasty. And the ice-cream van that came in the evening was a great tool to get the kids to sit and eat their dinner in time for it to arrive. Overall we had a great stay with great weather and we will be back.

Just back from a weeklong stay in Sexton’s. From the second we checked in we couldn’t have felt more welcome. Elaine and Rebecca could not have been friendlier and gave us so many tips that allowed us to get the very best out of our weeklong stay in West Cork. The place is absolutely spotless at all times, our kids met so many new friends from all over the country. Can’t wait to come back next year. Also really enjoyed our daily chats with Elaine’s parents Conor and Margaret, Thank you all for a lovely time.

Just back from a very enjoyable stay. Elaine was friendly and chatty from the minute we landed. We had a small setback with our tent and she literally bent over backwards to ensure that our little holiday wasn't ruined. Really nice site with a great location just five minutes from Clonakilty. We used it as a base to explore some of west Cork. Would highly recommend.

What a brilliant campsite!! I originally booked for 1 weeks and ended up staying most of the summer! The site gives great access to the wonders of West Cork and a selection of beaches close by to choose from. Re the site itself, very well run by the Owner Elaine & staff Rebecca, Mary and everyone else (her parents who live in the main house are also around for the friendly chats, gotta love Mags!)Elaine the owner gave us great advice on what to do and what's on around the area. Staff take no messing which, for me, is great for a family campsite. Its noise down by 10;30pm, personally, I think this is great as many people flock to campsites for this and its a rarity in many of todays sites. So if you are a family or some guests looking for a relaxing camping experience then this site is for you. If your chasing a few late party nights on site, there are other sites to better serve your needs. The curfew was adhered to by ALL residents and enforced by the owners which was brilliant given we were pitched right next to the playground and like a switch...silence..which really helps to get the kids back inside and settled before another day of fun! Amenities on the site are very good, wifi available up and around the reception area. Toilets are always clean, showers are FREE and also always clean, no matter how busy the site may be. The playground is really nice for the kids and they have plenty of space to run around. Kids loved to just go off to playground and meet all the other children. Small enough site to keep a eye on the kids, but big enough to not be on top of each others pitches. Water is close to all the pitches and electricity hook ups are at every pitch. There is a food truck onsite that does breakfast and evening food, and an ice-cream van that calls every evening. Small shop in the reception that sells some sweets, very reasonably priced! Anything else that you may need there is a Centra shop just a few miles up the road. All in all, this was a top class trip and one of the best we've had, my children had a ball which made my stay a hell of a lot easier, couldn't recommend this campsite and location enough, already counting down the days for when we can come back here again!!!

Just back from a lovely weekend in Sextons Campsite. Such a lovely clean campsite, well spaced pitches and the on-site food truck and visit from the ice cream van was a big hit with the kids. Sextons has such a relaxed friendly atmosphere we loved it there and will definatly return.

We booked in for 4 days, the site was beautiful. Great views from the top sites. Lovely size pitches, very clean and very well maintained. Very close to both Timoleague and Clonakilty. On site facilities were very good, with one exception - the onsite kitchen did not have a hob. The showers and toilets were in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this site for a family vacation
