To those guests who travelled to La Mariposa with children: With all the media hype about the Zika virus, and other diseases like Chagas for which no vaccine exists, did you feel that the risk was manageable during your La Mariposa experience (including home stays)? Bug repellent, mosquito nets etc? I would love to bring my two kids (7 and 9) down next year, I just worry about exposure (but I'm not sure if my worries are justified or not!) I know that ultimately it's a personal choice, but any advice you could offer, based on your experience, would be much appreciated! Christine

Hi, I would like to contact the Mariposa school for a future stay this summer and seem to have a hard time trying to contact Paulette. I would like to book and her contact information does not seem to work. Would you know how I can contact Paulette? I read so many good things about her place and would love to go this summer. Than you so much for your time and look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Teri

Hi Teri, Paulette doesn't do the day-to-day administration of booking, she has a team of people doing that for her. They can be reached at lamariposaspanishschool06@gmail . com Enjoy!
I am looking to book at your place at the Eco hotel for 1 month this coming July. I am flexible on my dates as I am a teacher and off in the summer. One of my things on my bucket list and My goal was To learn spanish and also wanted to go to Nicaragua...by coincidence I found your place on trip adviser and was interested in looking more into it to persue my dream. I look forward to hearing from you Best regards Teri
