Maple Grove Inn is a charming Bed and Breakfast located on lovely grounds. Enjoy a cup of tea on the front porch and a peaceful view of the long tree lined driveway. The bed was warm and comfortable with fresh pillows, goose down, and good quality linens. A refreshing walk amongst the gardens leads one past interesting details. As you...

I can't tell you how much my husband and I enjoyed our stay here! What a lovely, history-filled home with such caring owners. This house is full of charm and character and anyone who loves history will love it! I didn't read the reviews before coming and am so glad I didn't. It was a last minute decision on a...

I am really glad that my husband and I didn't listen to any of the reveiws posted. This B & B was such a hidden treasure!! The grounds are beautiful and well as the B & B itself. There is some truth to the prior reviews but you have to remember the age of the house. Please, if you are...

We enjoyed the stay at the Maple Grove Inn. It was conveniently located to all of the things we wanted to do and the innkeepers (husband and wife) were quite helpful. Any of the rooms appear to be nice, though some have bathrooms adjacent to the room, or share a bathroom. Be sure to ask. We had booked one room...

Myself and three friends always get together for lunch for our birthdays. We always like to try something different or new. This time we chose Maple Grove Inn making a reservation for lunch well in advance, and explaining it was for a birthday celebration. Although we were seated at the table in front of the fake fire, the room was...

The main thing I can say about the Maple grove Inn in response to some of the other reviews it that you have to have certain expectations. First here are my responses to other reviews: My wife and I stayed in the Oak Room and yes we did have to slam the door to close it, however, in a 100+...

After reading wildly mixed reviews, I was pleasantly surprised to find that this location was head and shoulders above the other Knoxville bed and breakfast with Maple in its name: the Maplehurst Inn. Maplehurst was much less expensive, but dirty. It is unfortunate that the names are similar. The Maple Grove is a beautiful location.

Just returned from a weekend stay in the most expensive room -the Oak Suite. Although the room was rather large, it needed much work. The room door had to be slammed in order for it to close completely. The carpet had several stains and the room smelled very bad. The bathroom door handle was close to falling off and was...

My husband and I actually live in Knoxville and have held our company Christmas Party at Maple Grove about 8 years ago. We were at a wedding there about 7 years ago. The place was a beautiful historic home that Knoxville was very well known for. Now fast forward to this month...we went there for a little overnight for our...

While this property is quaint and charming like something out of a Southern romance novel, the problems outweigh its character. I'll outline the problems below: 1) The smell of natural gas from the various fireplace gas pilots and the large gas-fueled restaurant-sized kitchen rises to the rooms. It made our throats hurt after the first night. 2) We never met...
