In town for 2 weeks for work. Comfortable, clean and new appearing hotel. Free breakfast (both hot and cold choices). Indoor pool, laundry, outdoor fireplace and gas grill. Restaurants close but not really walkable due to traffic. Rooms very comfortable with kitchens. It was a better than okay stay but I would have chosen a different hotel closer to restaurants and shopping.
A newer property, the Staybridge presents fresh and clean. We stayed eight nights in the studio suite while visiting family. The room appeared clean. They do not enter the room daily to clean but you can get fresh towels. It was mostly quiet at night except you can hear toilets flushing. They offer a couple of hot breakfast entrees and several 'cold' choices. Coffee maker is in the room. Nice pool area. Our biggest concern was staff not wearing masks consistently. Pretty much daily in the breakfast area masks were not worn--a hazard for us and for themselves. Front desk staff --masks were hit and miss. A little hypocritical as guests are asked to wear masks in public areas and I am happy to comply. This indifference by staff/management lowered my rating of the property.…
The bedspread had a stain right in the middle (look like a pet pee'd on it). That was gross. We took it to the manager and though they were concerned there was no offer to restore points or cut cost of a night... My wife took the sheet to the manager and actually carried another back to the room herself. No one contacted us the next morning when the day manager came on. We've been platinum members for over 10 yrs (I travel a lot with my company) and I'm rethinking my priority support for this chain. Once points are used likely change to Marriott or Hilton. This was very disappointing particularly during the Corvid-19 era when everyone is being assured things are clean!
This a new hotel that we luckily stumbled across while looking for somewhere to stay in Johnson City! The receptionist was very sweet and the hotel seems really clean! We ended up booking a studio room and had plenty of room for our one year old to run around. We are glad we stayed here instead of an older hotel!
We stayed here for one night and it was a great experience. The staff was possibly the nicest I have encountered in a very long time. Many things are not offered due to COVID-19 and it’s perfectly understandable. The free laundry amenities were open so I took advantage of that. There are some really strange things about the construction that I noticed. The walls and trim on our floor were so crooked. It was a bit strange. The walls in the bathroom were also very Off but neither of these things impacted our stay. Our suite was incredibly clean and the common areas were also well kept and sanitized.
