The Staff was Outstanding!!! Very friendly and Knowledgeable!! The Front Desk manager was so friendly and helpful. He gave suggestions of things to do in area and was so helpful!!! The handicap room was so accessible and the beds were so comfortable. We got a great nights sleep. Room was a bit dated but it was a room to rest and sleep in. It was clean and comfortable.
Bathroom floor had muddy footprints. Tub was dirty and still wet. It was like someone took a shower and had just left. We asked for another room. It was a little better. But ....the smell of mold and mildew was strong. Ready to go and sleep in my car which is 100% cleaner.
The front desk, maid service are helpful, welcoming and friendly. The rooms, we had two, were smoke smelling. Huge stains on the carpets. Breakfast consisted of waffles or cereal. The bottom of pool was dirty. Other ground area was clean. We felt safe. Plenty of hot water. Beds comfortable, pillows not so much. Easy check in. We were very disappointed as this is not the normal Quality Inn experience we are used to having. Shame on Quality Inn upper management putting your employees in a position to answer to the ‘quality’ of this hotel. I would not stay again.
I’ll never stay there again. Took unto 4 before we got to check in because not cleaned . Still not clean we got in. Crack 2 inches wide in door. Mattress had springs hanging out. Bed clothes you could tell had not been cleaned. To much wrong to list
This place is a DUMP ~ RUN DON'T WALK AWAY - Horrible management ~ Although I understand it has a new owner. Don't think that will improve anything. Old hotel, We had stained linens, nasty carpet & a commercially UNACCEPTABLE hotel.
The wifi does not work. The room has kind of a musty smell. It is very clean and it looks like it’s been cleaned really well so possibly they’re in the process of remodeling based on some of the other reviews. Definitely not worth the rate that you have to pay though. Next time I’ll definitely go to a different town.
We stopped there on our way to pigeon forge. We use to stop here quite a bit but unfortunately this place has gone so far down hill it’s actually gross. The carpet is sticky and the room had a odor . The bathtub was discussing , looks like it’s black from dirty feet (probably from walking on the carpet .
The room itself did not appear to be real clean. Lots of stains on the carpets. I noticed the seal was missing from the door and you could see the outside. This also permits bugs to come in. Ughhhh!!! The complimentary breakfast was a grab an go which consisted of two chocolate chip chewy bars, chocolate muffin and a blueberry muffin. Not a good selection if your diabetic. During the night there was a lot of drinking going on in the rooms around us and they kept coming out of the rooms slamming doors and arguing. Needless to say, we didnt get much rest.
We were there less than 2 hours before contacting Choice Hotels & getting reassigned to a hotel in Nashville. Thought it would be nice to stay near Loretta Lynn's Ranch, but this hotel was a total dump!! Stained bedspread, faulty electrical outlet ~ moldy, musty smell, dirty carpet, commercially unacceptable furniture and fixtures. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ~ Now fighting with Choice for return of points!!
When we pulled up at the hotel I was a little concerned. But we checked in went to the room. First thing I noticed was a musty smell.. almost smoke as well. The bedspread was soiled. Housekeeping immediately took care of that but it only got worse. I sat down at the desk to send an email on my computer. After a few minutes my laptop alerted that the battery was low. I was plugged directly into the outlet mounted on the desk. Turns out it was not working. I called the front desk and Tammy offered to put me into another room but had no more king rooms. I told her if we had to move it was going to be to another hotel as this one was not acceptable and certainly not up to standards as a choice hotel brand. It was very convenient to hurricane Mills and Loretta Lynn's ranch but I recommend you find other accommodations as this is one of the worst hotels I have been in in quite some time. The internet was slower than molasses..…
