Our family of 4 visited here in November 2016 and it really is a great place. So what you cannot reserve a spot. The truth is there really is no bad spots. The place is clean and security is roaming all night long. They have a basketball hoop, large field to play catch, board games for the kids and a...

I will say we have stayed at Raccoon Mountain RV Campground many times and always was very happy and enjoyed our stay. But Campground is now under new management I called a month in advance to make our reservation and was told I could not reserve a particular RV site # as I had always done in the past the...

Stayed for a long weekend. Large cabin is equipped with 2 bedrooms; one queen size bed, the second was bunk beds (lower bunk was full size). This cabin did have a bathroom with shower and a full kitchen. Extremely clean and well maintained. Smaller cabins (had friends stay in one), also extremely clean but no shower...bath houses are available. RV...

This was great for overnight stay. Beautiful view and clean place. A little off main road and into subdivision but not too bad. They had a few things to do but we were in route to another destination. Small swinging bridge was interesting. I camped in a motor home.

Interior roads were packed gravel. Sites had level gravel/grass pads with good spacing and utilities placed at the back. At our site, the water spigot was tight against the power pedestal so I could not use my Y adapter. Others were not placed the same. Sites had a grassy area with picnic table and fire ring/grill. They have NO recycle...

We made our reservations months ago and talked to the campground several times to make sure we would have a good site. What a joke. We were staying for 10 days and at first they were going to put us in a site on the first row where you walk out of your trailer and and your rickety old table...

The grounds are very well kept! Bath house is clean!! Several activities to choose from! But NO putt putt or go-carts! Hate to see the fun go to waste. The camp sites are very close to each other also!!

This was a nice, inexpensive place to stay for the night while visiting the wonderful Raccoon Mountain Caverns, which you can walk to from here. The pool was a bit crowded and the road right nest to our site was busy. Overall, it was not crowded and the staff was friendly.

I was actually supposed to go camping at some state park midstate, but took a wrong turn based on bad directions and ended up outside of Chattanooga instead. My go-to in the area is Cloudland Canyon, but they were full, so I just drove along I-59 looking tor a sign, and round one for Raccoon Mountain. They had a site...
