We really enjoyed these cabins for our tour of the Badlands NP and the Minuteman memorial. I have a lot of pictures of our month-long National Parks trip, but in the case of the Badlands, they do not do justice to the subtle beauty. Cabins were rustic but fine; the girls would

The cabins have been newly updated and were very comfortable. We had a porch with a view of the sunset. They are located right off route 90 and although you can hear traffic outside it did not bother us inside. There is a grill and picnic table for use by all the cabins and a chi

We finished our trip through the Badlands and had not made reservations for a hotel for that night. We left the park and just before we got to Wall, we noticed these cabins and decided that was going to be our place to stay for the night. We were blown away by the cabin the mom

I stayed here for 2 nights in Sept with my family. I would like to recommend this place but cannot. First of all the people who work at the desk have zero customer service skills They are not friendly at all. Secondly the rooms could be nice if not for the fact that we had to spe

I don't think I would have stopped here if I had just been driving by but I had made a reservation in advance - after reading Tripadvisor reviews! - and was very happy with the lodging.

Are the firepits for the teepee guests only, or are there some for the cabin guests, too?
As far as I observed the fire pits are for tipi guests. I think we had a place to charcoal grill. You can always email the staff and they can give you the best answer. Right now it's winter and they are closed for the season. It's a really nice place to stay.

This place sounds perfect but we have to bring our dog since we are traveling to Ca and will be in Ca for a month. Do you allow dogs or is there a kennel close by to board ? Thanks,
What are the tepees like? Do they have beds? What is the bathroom situation?
achel, I'm sorry I didn't answer you sooner. For some reason I did not see your question. The tepees have two single cots with bedding included, a table and 2 chairs, a Light for seeing at night and a fire pit outside in front of your tepee. We have a bathroom with shower for the tepee guests to use.

Are the cabins large enough for 6, 4 large adults and 2 children?
Our cabin had two double beds. There was not much extra room in the cabin. Bathroom was small. They may have different size cabins, I am not sure. From the outside, they all look the same. Hope that helps!... Marilyn
