Biggest double bed I have ever had in a hotel and fantastic breakfast! Good hospitality, very friendly people and good spot for excursions to beautiful villages and beaches in the area. It's also pet friendly.

The breakfast is a class for itself, Mr. Nikos the owner told me that the breakfast was like Hilton's! I told him No! No!, Hilton does not give you fresh orange juice for the breakfast and all the other delicious Greek specialties.

As mentioned below the rooms are simple but comfortable and better noise insulated than many others where I stayed in Greece. The great value is however given by the personnel, where a special mention is deserved by Nikki - the hotel manager - who will warmly welcome you the first day, be there whenever you need her during your stay...

The family who run this hotel are charming and greeted us with a welcome drink. The rooms are simple and comfortable. There is secure parking across the road. The breakfast is excellent and everything is home made. The jams and cakes are superb. We ate in the restaurant two evenings and had wonderfully prepared fish.

My wife and I have eaten here for years. The food, service and staff cannot be faulted. Try the fried zucchinis; homemade Moussaka and the fabulous aubergine shoes; the lovely tomato sauce which accompanies some dishes is a delight and would easily convert the carnivore to vegetarianism. The fish always look bright and fresh though we do not eat them...

I stayed in Akroyali for 4 days last year. As hotelier at Ritz Calton Hotels, I was really surprised from the hotel. A warm welcome from the owners, a nice room with exceptional see view of the Messinian Gulf, and the very "greek" style furnished and cuisine taverna, made my stay a wonderfull expierience! Truly is you will not find...
