My wife and I came over to get away for a weekend. This campground has always been one of our favorites. It is well run and well kept. The grounds are beautifull with a creek running through it. The staff is great to work with and are very helpful. Some of the sites are close together. It is worth looking...

We were not expecting a city park to be this nice. It was big and well maintained. The best part were the little rivers that went through the park. We envied the kids tubing but we took our dog over and splashed around which was good too. The site was level and bathrooms were clean and centrally located. Would definitely...

Love this campground. We had spot P1 which was spacious. We would stay here again...love that it is close to the creek, trail, and spearfish canyon. This campground is close to anything you could possibly need. It has all the amenities and is a beautiful campground.

This campground has all the services, beautiful surroundings, and great service but you are just a few feet from multiple neighbors. Not our idea of camping, but it is for some as campground was full. Nice path on river to walk dogs and only a ten minute walk to get to cute downtown area.

We stay here every year during the Sturgis Rally and Races. We pitch a tent where we can find grass (always plush and green grass when we are here) usually by the check in shack. They have awesome showers and bathhouses. They bring in porta potties, huge garbage cans and seem to accommodate all the bikers here very well. The...

We camped here for 3 nights in September 2015. The staff was great! We were a little surprised that we could find such a great campground right in the city. We caught trout in the stream, saw deer and ducks. We loved the hydro electric plant behind the park and the great walking trails. There are so many things to...

The grounds are very nice. All back ins are close together. That's the only good. The bad: The staff is horrible. They are not customer friendly in the least. In fact, they are vindictive toward those who politely question their decisions. I was an early arrival. I counted 19 empty spaces, so I knew there was space for my immediate...

We stayed for one night while passing through Spearfish and found the campground delightful. I especially liked the abundant well-maintained grass and the streams running through the property. The sites are packed pretty tightly together so in high season it may not be as relaxing. I also was not a big fan of the showers, the showerhead was below my...

We got lucky on our first trip to Spearfish, South Dakota ! The Spearfish City Campground is beautiful. A fabulous creek winds throughout the tree shaded park, staff are friendly, and there are well maintained (paved/concrete) walking paths. We visited in our RV the week before the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. It did get crowded however everyone was friendly and...

We have stayed in the campground for 10 years. It has always been clean and well maintained. The only complaint is the early schedule of the garbage truck. The showers could use an upgrade so you get more than a mist. It's a great spot to park an RV. Be sure to check out the hatchery and the breakfast spot...
