I was driving west with my two children. I chose KOA campgrounds in part because of restrooms, I could make a reservation and that they have pools. First I did not realize what I was getting into. I wanted a convenient place to pitch my...More

This KOA is huge and has everything from horse rides to bike rentals. It's close to Mount Rushmore and the staff is so friendly. Highly recommended. We stayed for one night and loved it. The countryside and mountains are beautiful!

Only cost not included on activities is the bike rental and stables. All the food was reasonably priced. I believe the pancake breakfast was $3. Drinks and sides extra.

Depends on the type of cabin you are renting. We had the basic camping cabin. One room. We brought our own linens. The bathrooms were a hike from where we stayed, so we drove for showers.
