Mount Rushmore is a must. Custer State Park and its buffalo herd is fantastic. We also went to Bear Country (just outside of Rapid City) summer 2014. It was great! Check with Mary and Doug at Trails End Cabins for directions, coupons, restaurant recommendations, and other details. They're great!
