The Internet was very fustrating, would work for no more than 2 minutes at a time. No cable TV or reception. Spots were small and the pull through a were very tight. The campground was clean and the showers/ bathroom was adequate. The location of the campground was very good.

As a family of 6 including two small children and, grandma, and great grandma, we rented cabins A and B for several nights and had the best time. The cabins are located very close to the rest facilities, that were recently updated. Three are three small parks and a heated pool for guests to use. The pool was busy in...

We are new to RV'ing and booked 2 nights here on our trip across Canada from Ontario to Northern Alberta and back thru the United States. We traveled here from Yellowstone and our GPS took us on highway 87 and through the Hood Tunnel - it was near dark and we were panicking we were not going to fit but...

We were traveling with another couple and had a RV along with a trailer for our motorcycles. While the couple we were traveling with had the RV, we needed a furnished cabin since we had flown out to Rapid City where they had picked us up. When booking our reservation I needed a place that could work for both of...

We rented a cabin for 3 nights. The cabin was very clean, air conditioned and had a heater if needed. Very simple, our cabin had a full size bed and 2 bunk beds. There is a small fridge, a bench and some shelving for personal items. The bath house was execptionally clean! We were very surprised. Restrooms and showers were...

We tent camped at the end of June 2016 at Horse Thief and thoroughly enjoyed it. The tent site we had was in their large grassy area which really helped keep the mess down around our site. Also, very large tent sites so you have plenty of room to spread out. It's a beautiful spot and very close to Hill...

Nice place about 10 minutes from Hill City. We stayed in motorhome while our friends stayed in cabin but luckily we could park motorhome at their site with full hookups. Otherwise we would have been quite a distance from then. Not sure why via a phone call they put us so far away to begin with but it worked out....

This site is less than 5min from Mount Rushmore and less than 10 from Crazy horse. It's next to Horse Thief lake which offers perfect swimming. The hosts were friendly and offered great DRY firewood, much cheaper than the KOA down the road. Also offers ice and other necessities. Only con is the toilets are drop toilets. I knew this...

Campground is quiet and clean. Roads are a bit narrow, but all the big rigs here during my stay managed with no problems. Staff very friendly and helpful. If they didn't have what I needed in their store, they offered to run into town and get it for me. Pool is small but nice for a quick swim-pool is also...
