Our stay at Mountains to Prairies was fantastic. Sam and Linda couldn't have been more welcoming to a couple of dishevelled and road weary Brits en route from Seattle. We stayed in the 'Flower Girl' suite and it was perfect, very clean and spacious - so much thought has obviously gone into each detail in the room from the light...

Stayed here for three nights. Wonderful accommodations even if the TV was a challenge - it was good to test our skills trying to change channels. The breakfasts were great, room kept nice and clean by their granddaughter, and wonderful hosts. Sam gave us a lot of info as to things "not to miss". Also supplied us with "donkey carrots"...

My friends and I stayed at this charming B&B in June and thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations. Our room- Chessie Lee's Peas - had 3 separate beds, a bath downstairs, a separate small kitchen area, and a toilet and sink upstairs which was more than adequate. The beds were comfortable, the rooms very clean, and the breakfasts that Linda prepared were...

We wanted a place to stay located to close to Prairie Berry Winery. Most of the motels in Hill City were closed for the season. We reached out to Mountains to Prairies in hopes that they would have a room available which they did. What a perfect weekend... The owners made us feel comfortable, the room was quaint and cozy....

We've stayed at Mountains to Prairies on two occasions (a total of 12 days) and will certainly return again on our next visit to the Black Hills. The term "B&B" isn't entirely accurate in this case since "bed" hardly describes the fully equipped private cabin spaces that Sam and Linda have created. The breakfasts are also superb. Linda creates a...

My husband and I stayed at Mountains to Prairies after riding our bicycles on the Mickelson Trail all day. We had a peaceful and quiet stay there. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was filling. They serve a picnic style breakfast on Sunday mornings and it is delivered the night before. The breakfast included some hard boiled eggs,...

Recently, after considering several different B & B's in South Dakota, we stayed at a little place called Mountains to Prairies Bed & Breakfast. Although we only stayed 3 nights, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. They were priced much more fairly than several other places we looked at and it was right in town,...

We stayed her 4 nights. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfasts plentiful and flavorful. The room we had would have slept 4 if we had had a couple of kids with us. The host was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a good time. We hardly saw our hostess, but...

We enjoyed our stay here! We were able to walk around town in the evening and Linda and Sam were very enjoyable hosts. They were very knowledgeable of things to do while we were visiting South Dakota.
