Our three night stay was too short to fully enjoy this absolute perfect B & B. our accommodations were rustic, warm and comfortable. Complete with kitchen, king bed ( very comfortable ) and a small seating area. our hosts Sam & Linda are charming, friendly and most importantly

Thank you so much for your kind and generous review, friends (Paul G). And we also thank you for encouraging our granddaughter to begin her life's savings, in the unique way that you did. We are happy that you found the bed comfortable, even though it is just a queen size. :) ...We find it comfortable, too! The nice thoughts you wrote in our guest book are appreciated as well, and we do hope to see you again someday.

This is our third stay here. Sam & Linda do a wonderful job running the B&B, very friendly and knowledgeable about the Black Hills area. Don't hesitate to ask them for suggestions on driving trips, they will send you off the beaten track for some wonderful views. The beds are

Words are not adequate to express how wonderful it is for us to see familiar folks walking through the door, like good friends coming for a visit. We do not expect gifts, but we feel pure delight at being presented with L's crocheted perfect handiwork of her own design. The beautiful piece still adorns our love seat in the breakfast room / gift shop, and the previous doily set is equally cherished, saved for special occasions. We very much enjoyed hearing stories out of your full and gracious lives. Thank you D&L for your kind words in this review.

Thank you so very much. This is really what it is all about, to contribute in some way to the happiness of your, and other travelers', important recreation time. We love the Black Hills, and are glad we had the opportunity to also boost you in the direction of finding enjoyment in this diverse wonderland.

Hill City is centrally located for numerous attractions--Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Black Hills generally......and this B&B is in a good location to walk to shops and restaurants on the main drag. And the train if you've decided to head to Keystone. Our

Sam and I are thankful every day for the wonderful guests we have the occasion to accommodate. Since our talents and responsibilities are uniquely suited to serving our guests in the best way that we each can, Sam usually gets to see our guests more than I do. Yet there are treasured times when we both can get to know our guests better, or hear about their adventures in the Black Hills. Sometimes we can't wait to visit where they have been, as we are still learning of interesting and fun places that we missed previously. It is satisfying to see guests enjoying the large front deck in the evening or the gift shop / espresso bar during the late morning or afternoon. Because we are primarily a bed and breakfast and nightly rental, we established our shop hours to offer late morning or afternoon dessert style lattes, cappuccinos, frappes, smoothies. We hope this is of help to the reviewer. You can be sure we greatly appreciate that you stayed here and found much to enjoy.

Part of their email address is "samlinda". It turned out that is such an appropriate name. This married couple handles guest relations seamlessly. Besides being lovely conversationalists (and helpful in mapping out itineraries), they make running this business seem

"Although on a main street, you didn't hear any traffic going bye. You have your own entrance."
"We did not stay overnight so I can't help with it his."
"Check out their website - several good photos of the place. Each room is a little different - Sam or Linda can help you decide. The main question is how many are staying & how much elbow room you need, then decide from there."
"Upstairs requires the use of the stairs - if this is a problem, we'd recommend the rooms on the main level."
