Beautiful room, excellent staff (would not let us carry a bag!) Small, intimate hotel. We didn't use the casino but it was airy & roomy. We visited some others during our stay and this is the best for us. Hope to go back. Deadwood is a fun city!!.

Usually when I travel, I tend to stay in hotels that all look the same and have no personality. However, this is not the case with the Bullock Hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean with all the basic necessities and pretty period furniture. I had a room overlooking Main Street and Mustang Sally's, which gave me a great view....

This was by far the best, as well as the cheapest, hotel on our cross country road trip. Our room was great with nice furniture and a bath that I wanted to sit in all night after a cold day outside. The staff were friendly and helpful and the was breakfast one of the best I've had in a long...

I am a deadwood historian and loved my stay here! The rooms were clean and updated ,staff was great! And I was one of the folks who had a Seth's ghost experience here I was in room 314 smelling the smoke of his pipe ..hearing trains ...I heard fun conversations I was told no rooms were rented beside me! I...

We had a group of 6. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff in the casino/hotel/dining room were all wonderful!!!!! Very friendly and very attentive to our needs. The only "complaint" was housekeeping. There was a sign in the front window advertising housekeeping department openings so that may explain it. We stayed 4 nights and when we left notes...

The Bullock was the place we stayed from 10/15-10/20/13. The staff was great, ESPECIALLY JOHN in Bully's. Breakfast every morning was the best and John is the friendliest and most efficient. He spoils his guests! The room was very comfortable with a wonderfully hot shower and a very comfortable bed. (I am picky about mattresses and this one in Rm...

If you are going to mine for gold at Deadwood in the Dakota Territory then you have to stay at the sheriff's hotel. The hotel is on the same lot where Seth Bullock and Sol Starr opened their hardware business in 1876. This establishment is fun and filled with history. So, of course, is much of Deadwood. The Gem is...

The historical spirit of Deadwood, S.D., demands that visitors suspend their reality for a few hours, or perhaps overnight, as they imagine what it might have been like to live here in the late 1800s, when Sheriff Seth Bullock built the Bullock Hotel. But reality quickly evaporates when you settle into the renovated rooms, try your luck at the ground...

We stayed at the Bullock Hotel in Deadwood, South Dakota, in September 2013. We had a great room. It was very spacious and so was the bathroom. Even though the hotel had historic furnishings, the room had modern conveniences. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of town, and it was...
