When we arrived there was no one in the lobby and the place smelled like a nursing home. The room was decent until we tried the shower. There was very little water pressure and the shower head looked like it was 20 years old. After checking out I received a bill for $4.95. After calling the hotel we found that we were charged for Wifi which is ridiculous since we are Bonvoy members and have never paid for internet service at a Marriott property. The woman we spoke with very rudely said that there was nothing she could do. We asked to speak with the manager and she said she is the manager so we asked for the general manager and she played that role too. An experience like this will make me switch to Hilton. Melissa Zimmerman is the general manager who is someone in great need of some customer service training.…
Very comfortable bed and kind-hearted staff made for a plesant overnight on our way west bound. Despite the 5 minutes to the airport the room was very quiet. We always enjoy the Courtyard properties when traveling. Despite Covid restrictions the breakfast grab and go fare was adequate.
I met my daughter here for a few days before she deployed overseas. The room was fine for a short stay, spacious, quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable and bedding clean. It had a mini 'fridge in the room however, there was only one microwave located in the corridor for the entire floor! Unacceptable!!! This is a Marriot brand and they can't put a microwave in each room? Plenty of parking and close to restaurants, shopping, the airport and highways. If not for the issue of the microwave, I would have given it 5 stars.
This place really needs a complete overhaul. They need to go floor by floor and completely renovate. Old and raunchy and had a mildew/musty smell even after self cleaning the room from top to bottom. I can tell the smell is coming from the carpet as there were plenty of dirty spot. As other reviews stated the couch had stains. I found a piece of blond hair on the floor(I don’t have blonde hair). Furniture is completely outdated and rickety. Door handles literally falling off. I went to Walmart to get pillow covers and a sheet as I didn’t trust the linen on the bed. The room just didn’t feel clean whatsoever and it’s not the housekeepers fault it’s just old and not much that they can do about it. Customer service was excellent but Marriott should really be ashamed at the condition of this hotel. Bed terrible and lumpy. I would NEVER stay here again.…
Arrived and parked 7 PM on a Tuesday. Didn’t use my car on Wednesday but Wednesday night, the parking lot was closed off and my car had been towed. Found it elsewhere with a note telling me to move it by 2 hours after I’d arrived. No signs, no mention of this when I arrived. THEY TOWED MY CAR. Thursday morning I was awoken before 7 AM by loud machinery tearing up the parking lot. They should not have filled the rooms on the side of the hotel directly adjacent to that work, which they must have known was happening. They care more about occupancy rates than about protecting Marriott’s reputation for quality. They also failed to housekeep my room between the two nights, and they failed to address my complaint of poor TV reception. Complained immediately to staff, then to manager, then emailed Marriott. Now, 3 days later, nothing more than “we’ll look into it.” Hotels sell comfort and peace of mind. Disrupted sleep and absent housekeeping means they didn’t deliver comfort;TOWING MY CAR means they didn’t deliver peace of mind; no substantive response for three days means they’re fine with really angry customers. B’bye, Marriott. …
