I was booked at this hotel by wyndham for a 120 minute tour. when arrived staff was friendly and helpful a beautiful lobby. when entered the room the room smelled old and AC unit was loud. Neighbors were very loud everything could be heard in my room as if we were talking. Called front desk and they knocked on the neighbors door to ask them to quiet down at 530 am and they were quiet for about 30 minutes but then they started back. The beach is about 2 blocks from the hotel, the pool was not opened and was told it was going to be open the next day and it was not. The bathrooms needed to be updated. The staff was great but everything else is a thumbs down.
Beds wore out, rooms not very clean, ac unit sounded like a jet engine when it came on. Too pricey for what you get. Hair in the shower. Not enough towels for everyone in the room when we got there. Room was above the parking deck. Motorcycles and hot rods all hours of the night right beneath us.
It doesn’t seem like most of the hotels in Myrtle Beach allow small pets so I was glad to find this place. The room was comfortable although a more comfortable chair could be provided in the room. Small refrigerator and microwave were appreciated. Lots of charging connections for mobile devices. New televisions were being installed. Beds were comfortable but pillows were a bit small. Perhaps the biggest surprise was how many dogs were guests. There was even one cat in residence. Several of the dogs, including mine, barked at each hall conversation and sometimes performed as a canine choir in response to hall traffic. I have to wonder if the other owners managed a good night’s sleep. The property had a new feel and was well-maintained. I would feel comfortable staying here on a future visit.…
We stayed one night due to tornado watches at our campground and stayed here because it was pet friendly. One of our pets escaped our room. The staff were unbelievable and helped us search for him for over an hour. They then asked us to email the front desk all the info in case Shadow showed up or was reported. Much to our surprise once we got on the elevator there were pictures of our pet in all the elevators. This outstanding service will make me choose this hotel again without hesitation.
