We stayed at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in August 2016 and what a beautiful place. They had just opened their new waterpark area and the new lazy river was awesome and so were the slides and pool. We rented a golf cart-a must if you have kids as they can go on their own (driver 16+) and wonder around this...

My children could not believe that I was going to give this campground an excellent review since I am far from an "excellent-giver"! This place is so clean, organized and had something for every member of our family. We stayed on a camp site but there are several nice/cute houses on this resort you can stay in also. You do...

This is a huge campground. There are houses and areas for camping. I can't image how crowded this place is in the summer but December was fantastic. We were in a 5th wheel that a friend parks here. Ocean Lakes set up the camper, it was ready when promised. Only issue was it was not leveled properly and we had...

Staff at check in was rude and appeared to be busy and stressed out .They also love to charge you to park your vehicle at the house you rented? Dont understand why this occurs on a rental that has 4 parking spaces underneath. Seems ridiculous.

To escape the winter drive south from Quebec in early Jan, we decided to position our fifth wheel in Myrtle Beach area, and selected Ocean Lakes after net search. Less than two weeks after 'Mathew', OL was cleaned up, but there was still evidence of storm damage everywhere locally. Sites adequate, minimal tree coverage, water pressure excellent, and drinkable from...

Nice campground - stayed in the RV section. Beachfront location is the primary feature; not a lot of other things to do at facility in off season. Located south of Myrtle Beach in a lesser congested area. Nice, clean bathrooms and friendly staff.

This park has one big thing going for it-location. It is directly on the beach and has full hookups and all the amenities in a tremendously popular beach town .....But expect to be packed into a park with over 800 RV sites! Everyone who stays here seems to bring or rent a golf cart, so expect to hear them whizzing...

RV camper site, a easy pull through site. Not as friendly as most RV parks. Pools were over crowed with screaming kids and many out of control. Rented golf cart was not good and would not go a steady speed and did not have a rear view mirror which made it difficult to gage what was behind you and racing...

Thank you for choosing Ocean Lakes, we are glad you enjoyed our pull through sites. We are concerned about “not as friendly” as we get so many compliments on our teammates and our service. We would hope that everyone would feel welcome. When the kids are out of school we are a very busy place (summer, holidays such as Labor...

Booked a place to stay on VRBO, for 5 months. The campground has all the amenities you may need. Snack Shop, Laundry, Store, and community room where Sunday Services are held. Staff was friendly and pointed out a few attractions to see in the area. Myrtle Beach is nice to see if you have never been there. There are places...
