These people are THE WORST! Please do not book here even if you are desperate! They are not helpful and they dont have any clear after hours check in and before hours check out instructions. They have one stupid dropbox where in you are supposed to collect the keys and drop them off. The four of us dropped our keys before the staff came in and they couldn’t find the keys for some reason! We asked them to check the cameras and they refused to do so - clearly they want to extract money from us by telling the owner that we didn’t drop the keys. A total rip off and such a cheap management! We are being charged $250 for the keys and when we asked them to check the cameras, they refused to do so. Ridiculous and I am going to tell everyone about this scam.

1st off let me say we aren’t picky. Give us a clean room and we’re happy. We booked through turnkey back for April that was then moved to October. We stayed in room 155. 1 bedroom with hard flooring and relatively up to date. We were given a 10 digit code for the room and the desk gave us a 4 digit code for side door. We literally went in the side door, up the steps and into our room. We didn’t use any hotel amenities. There were people in the lazy river without tubes and the kids pool and hot tub. Our room was well stocked with towels and soaps( except laundry which they wanted us to start the towels when we left so couldn’t). Hotel WiFi worked without a code. Other than a 3am wake up call by some drunk singers Saturday morning,it was peaceful. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay in same unit.

We had a great stay here! Beach front, steps away from boardwalk, huge room with plenty if beds and kitchen! Great value! Clean and spacious rooms! These are privately owned units so not a lot if hotel amenities, but so close to everything outside it was a great location to be in! We traveled with our 4 kids, 22, 18, 15, 12 and everyone enjoyed the stay!

I booked this hotel through a 3rd party site and upon arrival was a complete disaster. I called ahead of time to let the front desk know I would be a late check-in. Then a couple hours later I received a message from the resort stating that the lobby would be closed but provided info on how to obtain my room keys. Well no biggy I get there, grab keys, locate room... And OMG!!!! Room must have been dated from the 90's. I go in immediately with Lysol and tell my family to come up. Well here we go on this Rodeo... -Murphy bed no linen and headboard was failing apart!!!! -drapes leading to balcony literally hanging on by a thread. -Sofa looked as if someone had just got up from watching TV!!!! -Kitchenette only two cooking pans which were burned!!!not a full set nor hand towels to wash dishes -No broom or dust pan -Bathroom poorly lite pubic hair stuck in wash clothes!!! Not enough towels for family. no toilet paper!!! -bedroom carpet pulling up from floor drapes literally hanging on by a thread The last straw was when my husband had a asthma attack due to the poor air quality. Thankfully he had his machine to take a treatment. I decided to just contact the 3rd party about an early checkout because I had booked and paid for 2nights. They attempted to contact the front desk and low and behold no one ever answered. I tried to call every hour on the hour from midnight until 5am and never got anyone. So basically the entire hotel was left unattended for hours. Glad there wasn't a real emergency. The next morning I immediately go to the front desk to advise of my poor experience and early checkout and requested a refund for my now 2nd nights stay and was denied. They offered to come correct the issues in the room!!! The only way these issues could get corrected would be to remodel the entire room. I refused to wait and checked into another resort on the other side of the beach which was wonderful. I would never recommend anyone to stay here and I'll be disputing the charges and reaching out to the SC State Attorney!!!

If you are reading this review, then this place is not for you! This is the worst place I have every stayed - run, don't walk away. We rented this condo through a third party, and the condo was nice and updated, clean and well maintained. True to the pictures and we paid a good amount per night. If we were never leaving the room, the trip would have been great - the building is disgusting. No other way to describe it. Nothing was cleaned or mopped or picked up the entire time we were there. I swear there was blood on the floor leading out the pool that was there the entire week we were (actually less than a week, we left early) Unless you are a teenager looking for a cheap place to rent a night and trash a room, this is NOT the place for you. There is a kiddie pool and a "lazy river". We didn't use the pool, the pool area was never cleaned, the chairs were dirty and filthy. There were kids drinking out of bottles and pitchers in the lazy river. Music blasting at the pool - felt like I was on Spring Break. People smoking everywhere and leaving cigarette butts all over the place. The elevator was wet, dirty and had garbage, bottles, chip bags, etc., every time we had to go in. We did not know when we rented the condo, that rooms were going for $37-$67 a night, which explains the riff raff (being nice using that term) that were there. We had to call and complain almost nightly about neighbors. One night is was a rager at 1:00 in the morning. The music was so loud I could hear the words. Screaming, yelling, etc. I'm not a boring old lady, I get it, you're having fun, but it was out of control. The next guests had to have the police called because they were having a domestic dispute - screaming, cursing, all hours of the night. We actually didn't feel safe, made sure we had the door bolted every night. I'm not exaggerating. If you are planning a nice family vacation, book anywhere else. This place is a dive. Stay as far away as possible.
