First let's start off with we drove 10 hrs and arrived to find our room was not ready and was told they would call us in 15 min so we went to eat never got a call so went back and they said o sorry we forgot. The room we did get was disgusting very very dirty and outdated. It smelled and the furniture and carpet was stained. The bath tub was filthy all the fixtures were rusty the refrigerator had old food in it! The future on the balcony was broken and very dirty. I called to speak to a manager and was told no one was available and the had no other rooms available. Tried to get a refund to leave I was told they could not give me a refund because I booked threw Booking.com Do not go to this resort it is terrible!!!!!!

The check-in process had a lot to be desired. They didn't have our reservation in the system. Fortunately, I always carry a printed copy of the reservations. They were about to blame the site I used to reserve, but I explained that it was their site I used to reserve from. We had to wait for them to enter the reservation and get the room ready. There were many people having same issues. The lobby was full of people trying to get their reserved room with one issue or another. They told most that they did not have a reservation for them. They consistently blamed 3rd party sites for their reservation issues Due to COVID, they are not doing room service, that's okay. They gave a time frame to get clean linens. It took me three trips to the lobby to get fresh linens. I went twice during the time frame given, with no luck. The third trip was after the time frame and they acted as though it was my fault that they didn't have them because I didn't come during the designated time. I explained that I came twice already. They didn't really care. When I said I was paying a lot to stay there and didn’t want to spend the time in the lobby, the front desk clerk stated that she lived only 10 minutes away and her house cost a lot too. I ended the conversation there, but continued to wait for the linens instead of being able to take my child to enjoy the pool and beach. I wish I had made a picture of the sign out front. They claimed to have clean rooms and smiling faces. While the room wasn’t nasty, it didn’t fit the claim of boasting clean rooms. As for the smiling faces. We didn’t see a single happy employee there, except for maybe a maintenance worker as we were leaving. They all had bad attitudes and some with bad language. Really bad language. Not just a word or two, but more of a long string that were designed to unlock some door, I guess.

This place has the potential to be great but it's in bad need of a remodel. The cleaning staff work great but it looks like the just couldn't keep up. Trash everywhere. The couch was disgusting and should never been left in the room. The leather was peeling off. We had to throw a sheets on it. The furniture was literally falling apart. We wouldn't unpack or clothes in any of the drawers. The TV on the den never worked and we told them repeatedly. Free WiFi was a joke. We could never use it either. I'll stay anywhere, just to have a great location but this place was borderline ridiculous. I would not use any of the cups and plates for fear of what was left behind. The linens on the bed did smell fine. The room is right on the beach, which is great And it's walking distance to tons of things. So we stayed very little in the room. Which was fine. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there. And I won't stay there again until it's remodeled.

When making the reservations I was told the reaervation was for a 2 bedroom with a Murphy bed (sleeps 6).upon entering, It was a 1 bedroom with 2 beds and a Murphy bed. We foster so this totally was against any rules. Same sex only in a room could not be followed. As we are not allowed tonsleep in the room as the kids so we had to take the Murphy bed. The refrigerator had broken drawer and door shelf was also broke. The smoke detector was finally found……. In the cabinet. The sofa had pet hair all over it and upon asking, I was told the hotel had no vacuum or tapenIncould use to help remove some of the hair. Even without the pet hair the sofa was beyond nasty. The mattress on one bed was sunken in the middle and the other bed was the worst feeling mattress ever. If you want a comfortable clean place to stay, keep looking this is not it!

FILTHY. The room was FILTHY. Hotel old and dated, very shady. All pillowcases had make up and yellow stains. Sheets and blankets had bodily hair ALL over. Bodily hair and dirt all over bathroom - countertop, sink, shower, even on the hanging towels. We checked out immediately. The manager debated us on the cleanliness over the phone, but yet she would not come to see the room. After arguing, she sent up the director of housekeeping and advised if they saw what we explained they would give us a full refund. They clearly saw this and a full refund was given. No apologies, instead was told we had 10 minutes to get out. We were out in 1. Stay far far away!! Hotels are nicer in North Myrtle Beach
