The Homewood Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront is a fabulous property! Exceptional staff, accommodations, breakfast, amenities and location! Located on the boardwalk at Myrtle Beach. Scott Murphy in sales was wonderful to work with in planning our trip. Highly recommend!
The perfect location for first time visitor. This hotel has everything you need to enjoy your vacation in Myrtle Beach. ROOMS: Are vary spacious, comfortables and has all amenities a guess needs ( Iron, iron table, microwave, little fridge) AND a spectacular view to the beach BREAKFAST: For $14.99 + tax you can enjoy a breakfast buffet. The staff in that area is super friendly POOL AREA: 1 main pool, A lazy river and 3 hot tubs and water slides for adults and kids. Our favorite were the hot tubs. LOCATION: Right in the heart of Myrtle Beach, walking distance from the boardwalk PARKING: Self parking a block away from the hotel OR valet parking for $15.00 per night. Highly recommended for couples or families visiting Myrtle Beach
This was a nice hotel with great views but the elevators took forever to come and there was a very long line on ground level for people trying to get luggage in and up to 3rd floor to check in. The breakfast tables were all dirty and I saw breakfast staff putting fruit back into the bowls that had been spilled. Also I’m not sure what the valet did with our car because everything was spilled in the trunk. They must have been driving crazy
We were so thrilled with Homewood suites venue and staff when we hosted a party here for our great aunts 100tg birthday! Maria in particular helped us coordinate everything from room selection, to caterers, to day-of logistics- and it could not have gone better! The hotel was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated for Christmas. The conference/event room was thoughtfully laid out and all the projector equipment we needed was set up and ready to go. Maria even helped us book an excellent tea service, and oversaw all the execution logistics, which was a huge help. Out guests (and most importantly our great aunt!) had an amazing afternoon thanks to the incredible and friendly staff at Homewood Suites. Thank you guys so much!!
Summary/Overall My husband and I stayed at the Homewood Suites-Vancouver between 2 and 4 December to attend the Brookgreen Gardens “Nights of a Thousand Candles” and to visit our favorite state park for birding. Based on my assessments as written in this review, my overall score rating is a 9.5. My star rating is a 4.5. We will definitely stay here again! Parking/Check-in/Check-out/Security The only con about this hotel was the courtesy drop-off/parking area upon arrival to check in. The courtesy area is so congested and not easy to maneuver. I cannot even imagine what it is like during peak season. You do have the option for valet service (which we opted for upon check-in). The other option was to drop your family off and find a courtesy parking area nearby because you cannot enter the hotel’s parking deck without a key card to your room, which is only given at check in. The parking deck was a block or two away and was not across the street from the hotel. It’s not a big deal if it is not raining; however, they could provide a breezeway to the hotel. When checking out, we typically leave our keycards in the room; however, you should take a card with you when checking out because you cannot access the parking deck without one. My husband had to piggyback on someone else entering the parking deck, and then I had to transport our luggage to the exit ramp so he could pick me up. How weird. During your stay, you will also need your room key to use the elevators above the third floor (reception area location). I liked knowing for safety that no one enter the guest rooms without having a room key. Kudos! My suggestions to management are to add a breezeway (or for safety an above the road walkway) from the parking deck to the hotel, provide courtesy shuttle to/from the parking deck, and to provide guests who are checking in a temporary code to enter the parking deck. Breakfast We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. I especially enjoyed the waffles! They had at least five waffle stations, which was great not waiting long. They even had grits on the buffet! The breakfast area was huge and the attendants were very helpful. Housekeeping We didn’t ask for housekeeping, but we did ask for blankets and towels. I was impressed with the promptness and efficiency of the housekeeping staff to bring the items to our room. It was like they were reading our minds. Amenities We were on the 10th floor in a corner room. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the décor was exquisite. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use the pool or whirlpool on this trip. The area looked really nice though. See my photos in this review.…
Zuzana, our server was terrific. She was very friendly and attentive, and did an excellent job of managing several tables at once. Food was good and served quickly. For a quite bite in our hotel, the meal was a positive experience.
Our hotel was the best part of our family Christmas vacation! Everyone we encountered from the front desk to house keeping was friendly and accommodating. The customer service was impeccable and much appreciated.
We arrived to check in at stated time of 4 PM. There was no rooms ready. We waited an inappropriately longer time. No offer made to re I’m urse out time. Check in is chaotic. Do not stay here. We are canceling our Hilton Honors
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! So we stayed here at Patricia grand 1932 in myrtle beach. We found bed bugs in our room and we have video and picture proof of it. We showed the people at the front desk the pictures and videos and were told that wasn’t good enough proof. We have been moved several times. And they only want to give us a refund for one night. We also now don’t know if our luggage has been infected or not. They told us to leave everything in the room because they were going to spray for them and when we returned the next day nothing had been sprayed.
This was a nice hotel, the first one we’ve been to where you check in on the 3rd floor. Our kids LOVED the indoors pool with lazy river and slides. Our room was nice and clean, the only issue we had was it took a while for the room to get warm. It was so refreshing to have a balcony and stand outside. The hotel was nicely decorated for the holidays. The free breakfast was good with a nice selection and the restaurant part had good food as well, just a little pricey. We would definitely stay here again.
