The Red Horse Inn is absolutely stunning. The layout of the inn and cottages is so nicely done - pristine and quiet with plenty of privacy. We stayed in the Grainary Cottage for one night. Lovely. The front porch views are so serene. The back deck is a great place to check out the stars. We were hoping for some...

The Red Horse Inn in the lovely Landrum, SC has always been an excellent choice for a relaxing, romantic, beautiful retreat. My husband & I stay in a cottage as often as we can. It is surrounded by the SC/NC mountains. It's a quick scenic drive to the historic towns of Landrum, Tryon, and Saluda ( antique shopping galore &...

This place is so peaceful and beautiful! We got married there and stayed in one of the cottages and it was awesome!! Very quite and serene. They have hot tubs on the decks for relaxing in the evenings with a glass of wine. We stayed in the Grainary cottage. It was beautiful and tastefully decorated. A little pricey, so it...

The Inn is on a beautiful piece of land and is gorgeous. We stayed in one of the cottages and had a wonderful time in the well-appointed space. All seemed fine except for the food promised and the lack of any sort of snacks or drinks that inns usually offer. The pizza dinner was horrifying but we got a refund....

We stayed at the Grainary Cottage and the interior was like living in a Better Homes and Gardens romantic getaway. The place had a ceiling all the way up to the top of the roof and a full kitchen. The bedroom was a lovers heaven on earth with love poetry on the walls. Out the French doors from the bedroom...

We visited several times back in 1997-99, while the Inn was still under construction - in fact I've never seen it finished! (I selected 10/2015 as the time we visited since that's as far back as the options go, at this writing). Back then the RHI was just barely online, and we left our hand-written reviews in journals in the...

We've stayed at the RHI twice; nice accommodations, interesting and pretty property, just off I-26 on way to mountains in NC. Not a great deal to do there unless you're an equestrian, but pretty property w/ attentive staff. But get there before 6 pm! The office closes up early; call ahead if you think you'll be late. You might be...

We have been lucky enough to travel to many wonderful sites in this country. Only rarely we had the degree of hospitality in such a beautiful setting. Cottages are nicely spaced on the beautifully maintained property which provides a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. Service was friendly and unobtrusive, and the one issue we had with the television was...

I have not even been to the Inn yet and I'm already quite frustrated. The marketing on their website is very misleading. Their adventures that are marketed as packages are not packages at all. They also tell you that each reservation comes with one complimentary adventure. These are not packages. They give you directions to a bunch of free sites,...

Went here for our honeymoon, it was horrible! I'm not normally one to complain but when I feel I am being ripped off I get pretty upset. My husband an I woke up in the middle of the night covered in sweat due to the air not being on, which led to us not sleeping the remainder of the night....
