I have stayed at South of The Border several times over the last Twenty years. We would bring our children once or twice a year. It is a place were you can park your vehicle and not move it for a few days. It has cheesy style Mexican shops that have souvenirs and plush toys for all ages. It has...

If you need to sleep on your drive down south, then South Of The Border is a safe, clean, inexpensive, and pratical place to spend the night. Many activities, such as restaurants, amusements and games for the whole family to enjoy!

I've been coming here for more then 30 years it almost never changed since my 1st visit. I've been here as a kid and now bring my kids ,, I would guess I've been here 20 plus times. The place is okay it shows its age which is part of the charm. Rooms are okay,, the food is edible,, and...

We stayed here 3 nights in march 2016, our room was near the freeway across the street from the main hotel the noise was not bad because we were not on the freeway side. The room was very dated, looks like no updates in 20 years but clean, OK and cheap. It supposedly has free Wi-Fi, the front desk said...

My youngest kid wanted desperately to stay at a roadside attraction (after watching too many episodes of Gravity Falls). Looking at the route we were taking to Tampa, South of the Border seemed to fit the bill. The place is out of a different era. It was a little bit rundown, but clean. The indoor pool was nice. All of...

We stopped here overnight from a drive from NJ to FL. The price was cheap and the room was just okay. It got the job done for what we needed but I couldn't imagine spending more than one night here. Though it is very clean everything is outdated. I'm sure this has to do with the theme of the place....

I am extremely disgusted with the service I have received today. Being a loyal patron of South of the border FOR TWENTY SIX YEARS, my family or I received such poor service. Upon arrival at the hotel lobby, my father was greeted with an unwelcoming face, poor body language an a horrible demeanor. Previous arrangements have been made with a...

Gave myself quite a "treat" last night. Left New Bern, NC for Greenville, SC too late in the day to make it home, so knew I would have to stop about half way at a motel for the night. Half way is Dillon, SC. I have stayed at just about every motel in Dillon, and each time, promise myself I...

I always enjoy the view from the top of the tower. And the steak house is located in a good area. Not to mention juicy steaks!! The indoor pool stays a 72degs year round. Sauna with its steam get u ready for a walk to see the sites.
