The Magnolia Mall and the Commons at Magnolia Theatre, shops and restaurants are across the street from the hotel. Our hotel is a beautiful 3-story interior corridor hotel offering regular king or two queen beds and fully equipped two room suites. Our South Carolina hotel is equipped with high-speed internet access and in-room printing services. Enjoy our complimentary deluxe continental hot breakfast buffet from 6am-10am. All hotel rooms include microwave/refrigerator, complimentary laptop safes, iron, ironing board, coffeemaker, hair dryer and TV with cable, plus LodgeNet entertainment. The Hampton Inn & Suites Florence also offers cribs, a fitness center and an outdoor pool and spa. Laundry/valet services, guest laundry, meeting/banquet facilities and audio visual equipment are available for a nominal fee.

I have stayed at this Hampton Inn many times over the last 2 years and the service, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff has been consistently good. I will, no doubt, be staying here several more times in the future.

Hampton Inns are fairly similar and this one presented no surprises. A king suite included a sleep sofa that was comfortable for a teenager. The standard mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker were present along with a safe. The walk-in shower was large. The bedroom was roomy and included a work desk. Paper cups were provided for the coffee maker, but there was no glassware. Breakfast was included and was tasty. Omelets, waffles, biscuits, fruit, yogurt, and cereal were offered and a staff member served because of COVID precautions. Magnolia Mall and numerous restaurants are nearby. There was some street noise but not excessive. The bed was very comfortable. Laundry facility, a small exercise room, a business room, and an outdoor pool are available. There are numerous other hotels in the area so you might want to do some price comparisons, but this served us well.

As a healthcare worker, I was impressed by the cleanliness of this Hampton Inn the moment I stepped into my room. Each one is sealed to let you know it’s been cleaned/disinfected and when you first walk in, there is the faintest hint of Lysol which in this day and age, is reassuring. The room was spotless including my mattress check. The remote was wrapped with plastic to let the guest know it was cleaned and they left a few alcohol wipes as well for guest use. The downstairs elevator also had hand sanitizer and Lysol wipes. There is also a hot breakfast available (in addition to grab & go bags) which I haven’t seen I. A long time despite staying in various hotels in the past few months. Breakfast was served by a friendly attendant but limited to scrambled eggs, sausage, home fries and biscuits. She serves you coffee and juice as well but the fruit, milk, yogurt and creamer are near the front desk. Much to our disappointment, even though the waffle irons were out, they’re not currently in use. I would definitely stay here again!

Hampton Inns are my choice in hotels when traveling - they are usually consistent. This location is an older hotel with some room upgrades to match the new Hampton Inn look. Check-in did not include a digital key option so we needed to stop at the front desk. The hotel team member was friendly and helpful. On the way to the room we were surprised how small the elevator was - it would not accommodate social distancing between guests. We stayed in a 3rd floor room at the end of the hall, and overall it was quiet. Breakfast included hot meal options served by a rushed, and not overly friendly, staff member. Grab and go breakfast bags were also available. We took our time getting ready for our continued trip north, and although check out was not until 12pm, housekeeping knocked on our door at 11:15am to see if we were still in the room. With so many other hotel and location options in SC, I would not chose this Hampton Inn again when traveling I95. Earlier in the week we had an excellent stay at the Hampton Inn in Walterboro, SC.

We have stayed at this hotel before and loved it, well this trip we were so disappointed at the way this property has went down. Hilton says it has an enhanced cleaning policy NOT at this location first room they gave us the AC was not cooling and room smelled, second room 110 was cool but so much black mold in shower, carpet was filthy your feet were black after walking on it and was so smelly not sure what has happened to this location but when I told the front desk clerk who was having breakfast and talking to her friends in the breakfast room she just waved at me, said drop key at front desk and could have cared less about my concerns of a dirty room. Now where is the Manager? do they ever inspect the rooms? No courtesy at all from this location. I'm so done with bad service and dirty rooms. Would love a response from the Manager.

We stayed at this Hampton Inn on the way to Florida. After reading reviews, we noticed that this one actually has a 1-bedroom king suite, which means a bedroom with a door, separated from another room that is a living area. It must have been built for another chain, because usually Hampton suites are a big studio suite. We enjoyed the spacious rooms that looked like they had been recently updated. We had read a criticism of the furniture as someone thought it was old. To us it looked like new furniture in an older traditional style, which we liked. The front staff were not very friendly, and I had to ask for water even though we are rewards members. However, the breakfast ladies were providing great service with a smile, especially Carolyn, who seemed so happy to serve each customer individually due to the restrictions. A bonus is that the wonderful Florence Veterans Park is near the hotel.

This hotel was in a good location near lots of restaurants and the highway. Paying extra for the King suite was a big mistake as it was an old room that had tired towles adn appliances, dirty with old furniture and a strange layout. I can't say what the other rooms look like, but the king suite wasn't good.

This location is easily accessible from I95. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Our room was quite updated and extremely clean! The complimentary breakfast had a variety of hot options including fresh healthy options. Loved the smoothies!

Overnight stays can vary on experiences, but our recent stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites, Radio Dr was wonderful. The hotel staff were very helpful and provided recommendation(s) for local restaurants. We were not disappointed. The room was very clean, comfortable, spacious and neatly decorated (a Hilton standard). Complimentary breakfast was excellent with lots of healthy choices.

If you get a quote for a pet fee, you will probably want to get it in writing from them before you book it. For my stay it changed from $50/night to $75/night back to $50/ night and finally charged at $75. I would not have paid $75 for a small dog to stay less that 24 hours….. I made several attempts to get this changed back to $50 and I was told it would be at check-in but I guess Hilton can’t afford to stand behind what their staff say. Poor service in my opinion.
