This is a old style hotel. We had double double room very comfortable 4 poster beds, a good breakfast, and we enjoyed free happy hour with wine and nibbles each evening. Friendly staff. It is a timber building so you can hear people upstairs. But it wasn't busy when we were here so didn't effect us.

Walked in to lobby, man behind check-in never lifted his head from the computer. Old hotel, with wood floors, so he knew I was there. I stood there for some time, assuming he was doing something important. Finally, an employee came in with another couple, after showing them a room. He did not work at the check-in desk, but asked...

I stayed here last weekend with my mom. We had both stayed here previously and definitely were not disappointment this time around. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They stored our bags because we were a little early and offered to help us bring them to our rooms. The hotel itself does need a little TLC. However, it kind...

Me and my husband wanted to getaway for a long weekend to Charleston. The Meeting Street Inn was highly recommended to us by a friend and I am so glad we chose it. I would definitely visit again. It is in a great, central location, has a lot of historic character, and we loved the complimentary wine and cheese hour...

My wife and I decide to add a view days to the beginning of our Christmas trip to make it a vacation. We flew from Seattle to Charleston arriving very late in the evening of December 17th. The fellow behind the counter recognized our name and after putting our bags in our room, he poured us two (each) glasses of...

The main draw for this inn is its historical value and location - which are both very nice. Location: you can walk to most of the attractions in central Charleston. Room: the room is historical so therefore not luxe by any means. But if you appreciate the historical value, this is a good option for you. The main lobby is...

We had a relaxing time with wonderful people who ran the Inn. Joy and Darrel were knowledgeable and very generous with their recommendations on restaurants and helpfulness. We enjoyed a room with double queen beds and a balcony. Very clean and very comfortable as well as quiet. Great location by The Market and The DASH free trolley service in downtown...

This is our favorite place to stay in Charleston. Service staff is outstanding. Rooms are well appointed, showers are fabulous. Evening wine and cheese is southern hospitality at its best. Breakfast is a variety of foods that are perfect to start your Chucktown day. Courtyard and fountain at this old inn make me happy at any time of day or...
