My sister and I visited Charleston in May 2015 and stayed at this lovely place. It was our first Bed and Breakfast experience, and now that is the only type of place we want to stay at when we travel somewhere new! Ms. Diane Weed was marvelous, our room was spectacular, and the breakfast was divine! The location is perfect!...

One of our favorite places to stay in Charleston, SC is the Country Victorian B&B. Diane Weed is the proprietor/owner. She and her friendly Yorkie, "Truffles" will warmly greet you once you arrive. The B&B is in a great location in the historic district within walking distance of most everything to see, restaurants, theaters, shows, etc. The free trolley is...

We booked the B& B based on the positive reviews we read on the first page in TA, we never looked any further. Upon arriving, we couldn't believe this was the same place that had positive reviews on TA ( we later read the 2nd and 3rd pages and the negative reviews mirrored our experience.) First-there was no breakfast, it...

A very nice place to stay in Charleston! It is within walking distance of everything in Charleston. Everything that is needed is provided. Indeed, the best part of the experience of staying at the Country Victorian is the hostess, Diane. She took care of our every need, gave us fantastic suggestions about where to eat and what to see, and...

Thank you Diane for a wonderful weekend! This was the perfect spot for my husband and I to explore Charleston for the first time. Within walking distance to historic King street shopping, East Bay dining/entertainment and the Battery. Well-prepared and tasty breakfast along with mango/peach sweet tea on the piazza in the afternoon. Diane was wonderful in accommodating my husbands...

We stayed three days at the Victorian Country B&B late April 2015. WE had the slaves quarters which was spacious, quiet, and had its own private upstairs porch with rocking chairs. It was located in the historic district with easy access to town, restaurants, bars, and sites. The free trolley ran nearby. Owner Diane Weed was a delight and prepared...

Having read many reviews on this place, we do agree that the place is covered in antiques. If this is not to your liking then indeed you should not stay here. Personally we found them charming and interesting. The king bedroom, was very clean, comfortable, and we slept well.. We understood that the plumbing would be old and that care...

We found the Tradd St. location to be the perfect center from which to explore Chaleston on foot. Our host served creative and delicious breakfast s and shared many helpful tips. She also had our room adorned with several interesting collections.

My daughter and I spent 4 nights at this delightful B&B. The room was very comfortable and pleasant. Diane served excellent, lovingly prepared and nutritious breakfasts (and always offered a second serving if we wanted). She displayed an encyclopedic knowledge of the city where she has lived for many years, and suggested well chosen restaurants according to the type of...

“The upstairs suite encompasses two bedrooms, one larger with a larger bed, along with a sitting room. While there are small, older style TV's in all rooms, there are no big screen TV's anywhere...which I kinda of liked. If you're in Charleston to watch TV, stay at home.”
