My husband and I, with our two college-age sons, had two rooms here for a 6-day family trip to Charleston, our first time to the state. We couldn't have been happier with our accommodations, the location, the staff, and the overall experience of this gracious inn. The front porch was a beautiful hangout for breakfast and in the evenings. We...

We stayed here because it was in the historic district, and we were not disappointed! The staff were all so helpful. They even made reservations for our dining. Lovely home that includes a spacious veranda, Tiffany stained glass windows, and more. Sherry was available in the dining room (self-serve), and afternoon tea was offered every day. We'd go back in...

My sister and I are teachers who love to travel during the summer months. We have stayed in many, many inns and B & B's over the years. Having never visited Charleston before, we wanted to stay in style to enjoy our visit. We throughly enjoyed our stay here. From the moment we arrived for check in with a nice,...

Just off the "battery" waterfront and walkable to everything. The inn is well cared for, well decorated and well staffed. The large wrap around porch is perfect for breakfast, afternon tea and just relaxing (though there were mosquitoes biting!) Breakfasts were "plated" so they could be taken on the porch or dining room and included an egg pastry or quiche-like...

Two Meeting Street Inn spoiled us for future bed and breakfast stays. We can't imagine any better place to stay in one of the most beautiful cities in the U.S.! While it is a little pricey, it was worth it to pamper ourselves on our anniversary. Breakfast each day was excellent and satisfying. Afternoon tea with its pastries was a...

We spent three nights at this Inn as part of our anniversary weekend getaway in Charleston. As such, we were looking to treat ourselves to a touch of class with some historic charm in a scenic setting. We hit the trifecta! The Inn is simply beautiful. Each common room is worthy of a photo. The wraparound front porch is spacious...

Oh my goodness, the charm abounds, the service impeccable, the rooms exquisite, the location ideal -- everyone should experience this place at least once -- if not every year! It's easy to walk to all of the city offerings and the staff is always so helpful in calling a carriage, a cab or a "rickshaw" -- so much fun!

We stayed here for one night June 17, 2015. Upon entering we were greeted by a gracious hostess who immediately offered us a glass of peach iced tea or lemonade (as it was VERY hot outside). While we enjoyed our cold beverage, the porter went out to our car to retrieve our luggage for us and place it in our...

My husband and I stayed at the Two Meeting Street Inn on a week night in June. It was wonderful. Upon our arrival we were invited to sit and enjoy a glass of lemonade as we were checked in. The great service and hospitality continued through to afternoon tea, evening arrangements for dinner and a pedi cab (bike taxi) and...

Circa 1890. In the center of the historic district overlooking prestigious South Battery, this turreted Queen Anne was built as a wedding gift from a father to his daughter. It is one of the area's oldest bed & breakfast inns, offering Southern hospitality and a romantic heritage. Tiffany stained-glass windows, crystal chandeliers and English oak woodwork are accented by fresh flowers, Oriental rugs and family heirlooms. Traditional antiques furnish the elegant guest bedrooms.
