This is truly an exceptional hotel. The service was incredible from every level of their team. I did not utilize housekeeping services during my 3 night stay, but every other department was exceptional. Room service, concierge, service desk, catering personnel, everyone was top notch. It is obviously important to the Belmond Charleston Place that their team offer great service, but...

Stayed for 4 nights for a 10 year anniversary trip in a refurbished, but not club level, room. The first room given to us #245, I believe, was right next to the conference ballrooms and in a very poor location, that I cannot imagine many visitors would find acceptable for the price. Upon talking to the front desk, we were...

So, you want to describe a great hotel. The valet folks greet you by name whenever you return to the hotel, check-in is friendly and quick, the bell person takes you to the room and shows you the amenities, you have a terrific and quiet room with recent very well thought out upgrades, very comfortable bed, good included internet, and...

We stayed for two nights in August. The hotel -once we found it- was beautiful. The check in process was quick, and we were upgraded to a balcony room overlooking the market. Pros: Well appointed room, nice size, great staff, wonderful room service. Great location! Cons: Difficult to find, we drive around downtown Charleston for 35 minutes before we arrived...

My fiance and I stayed at the Belmond for a long weekend in August 2015. The location was perfect, walking distance to everything. Excellent service. Definitely recommend the Club level. Well worth the upgrade.

Beautiful hotel in a good location. Bellhop was very friendly. We stayed in a room on the newly renovated second floor. It was lovely and large and had a small patio. It also was quiet. Surprised there was no coffee maker in room. Concierge seemed knowledgeable but judgmental. Pool was really pretty and peaceful which was a nice break from...

The staff was unprofessional and rude. Initially we were assigned a room where someone else was already staying. The bell hop very unprofessionally commented the girl at the front desk had only been working a few day and did not know what she was doing. I was mortified that we walked into someone else's room with them there. Yes our...

Top service, beautiful hotel, phenominal concierge floor - its worth the $$ to stay there -and located fabulously. Charleston is a walking city so there are many hotels that are located in a place where you could walk to everything, but this hotel seems smack in the center of it all. Palmetto Cafe offers a great breakfast option - again...

We just spent three nights at Belmond Charleston Place. The hotel is beautiful, right in the heart of historic downtown of Charleston, SC. We had confirmed reservations for Premier (newly renovated) rooms which according to the website are on the 5th or 6th floors of the hotel, however when we checked in we were told that was not the case....
