Stayed two nights in early Dec. Overall great experience. Great location in Charleston, very clean, very friendly staff, good breakfast. Easy walk to King St shopping and to the Market, also clost to great restaurants. Not a gourmet b&b breakfast but a good hot breakfast with a variety of choices. It also has free on-site parking which is a plus...

The only reason not a 5 star was the neighborhood, which was kind of yucky, not dangerous or anything, but not historic too. The house was original and historic. The rooms were wonderfully decorated and each unique. Some rooms at 4 floors up but 2 at ground level. The owners very helpful and gregarious, suggesting lots of good places to...

We liked our stay. It is about a 90 second walk to King Street, which we loved, because of all the shops and eateries. Also, it's only a couple blocks from the Sat. morning farmers market, which is a misnomer because there is a lot more there than produce-fun! Also, we drove to the Battery in 5 min, could have...

Stayed one night in early Dec. Overall great experience. Great location in Charleston, very clean, very friendly staff, good breakfast. My wife and I have stayed at the inn for probably 12 years running. Always great service and wonderful hospitality. Great location. You can park your car and not have to get in it again until it's time to leave. Terry also gives you great tips on where to shop and eat. We'll always go back!

The location was amazing and Terry was fantastic! He really makes you feel at home and takes time to be sure you have everything you need - from carrying luggage up to the top floor, to being willing to cook more food beyond breakfast time to be sure you are ready for the day! Also, I stayed in the room...

We really enjoyed our stay in early November this year. Charlene made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. She was a mine of information and this helped us to make the most of our limited time in Charleston. Room 1A (?) was very comfortable and 'olde worlde' although rather public adjacent to the main street at ground...

This was our first stay at a B&B...and it was wonderful! Terry and Debbie are so personable and down to Earth! We stayed in the front room on the first by the street (this was the only room left because we only booked 2 days before we got here)... We thought that the noise would be an issue, but we...

I love visiting Charleston during the holidays, and staying at King George is the icing on the gingerbread house. Debra and Terry always go the extra mile to make you feel at home; especially during the holidays. It’s like visiting family, but better. Debra has started decorating every room, hanging Christmas stockings from all of the mantles, hanging garland from...

Recently I have been traveling to Charleston quite a bit and have very much enjoyed the Inn at King George IV. The generous owners and staff are wonderful hosts, the rooms are cheerful and clean and the breakfasts are delicious. In addition the location can't be beat; just steps from great restaurants, shopping and the lively King Street scene. The...
