Very well located, within walking distance of everything in the historic area. Charlene really runs the B&B and does a great job. There was a different delicious hot dish each morning; cereals, yogurt, juice, coffee are always available. Everything is in the kitchen which doubles as the B&B office. We don't handle stairs well and had requested a ground floor...

Great place. I would stay again. I liked that the snacks and beverages were available to us 24/7. We stayed in room 8, which shares a bathroom with room 7. I thought that might be an issue, but it really wasn't. It helped that we were on the 4th floor, so there were no others around to intrude or run...

Our stay at the King George IV Inn was wonderful. We were there for the Historic Home tours and it happened to be spring break also. The town was packed with visitors and the roads were completely tied up with traffic. The King George was the only place available for our stay. It worked out so great. It is a...

Love this place! While visiting our daughter and son in law, we stayed for 4 days at the King George IV Inn. We absolutely loved our room. It had a small kitchen and a beautiful veranda. There were many original pieces and decor from the time period for which it was built. The beautiful 4 poster bed was extremely comfortable...

We arrived saturday night and stayed a Different b&b begins with E. which cost 442.00! April is high season. The room was very small(120sq ft), dark, and staff was robotish. The hotel next to us played music until 11pm which was not so bad but just to let you know. Sunday night we arrived here at the King George inn....

Our room was very nice, comfortable and very clean. Charlene made us very welcome and chatting with her was a great start of the day! The breakfast offering was good but the website is misleading - we never met the inn keepers (although they were on the property) and no sign of the morning baked goods! Charlene was wonderful to...

My husband and I stayed here while in town for the Cooper River Bridge Run and were so happy with our choice! The inn is beautiful with wonderful historic architecture, comfortable beds and very clean rooms. The porches are so comfortable for enjoying the beautiful weather. The innkeepers and all of the staff that we met were so friendly and...

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was tastefully modernized. The hot breakfast was a good way to start the day. During the day and early evening the outside noise was a distraction from time to time. I would consider staying again the next time we visit Charleston.

I recently visited Charleston and stayed at the King George IV Inn. My room was charming, (Room 5) and the staff was extremely friendly. The location is terrific for walking around the city. A true gem!

We just loved this inn! The staff is amazing, the bed was amazing, the room was gorgeous, the location was great and since they have a private lot, the parking was free. The room prices range enough to accommodate any price range desired too. We stayed on the top floor with a shared bathroom with one other room and the...
