I totally love this location. Every room I have had the pleasure to stay in is unique and everything is very clean. The antebellum floors, the high ceilings, the lovely furnishings all add to the ambiance. Upon arrival, the doormen are charming, the front desk folks are extremely pleasant and helpful. The brandy at 4 is a nice way to...

We enjoyed the location of this hotel, as well as the extra room. Traveling with my husband and 2 children, the kids had a great pull-out sofa with their own TV and fireplace in the living room, while my husband and I were able to enjoy privacy in the bedroom. We had a beautiful 2nd floor room with a great...

We have stayed here many times and are never disappointed. It doesn't matter which building you stay in because all the rooms are beautiful! We have stayed in every building and love how most rooms are different. Although we live the bigger suites for the space, our favorites are the studios in the main building. The brick walls, high ceilings...

We are Bluegreen owners so we have always wanted to come to Lodge Alley Inn. The rooms are spacious though the 1 bedroom kitchen needs to be updated. The outdoor court yard and fountain is lovely. The service is excellent but usually is with Bluegreen properties. The location is really what sets it apart. Two blocks from waterfront park, one...

The location is great! Many historic sites, shopping areas, and terrific restaurants - all in easy walking distance. The rooms are quaint and very nice. The Inn is in a re-purposed historic building. They did a good job at making the building a lodge. My one complaint was that the facility did not have a sufficient number of parking valets....

Once you stay there you will want to come back time and time again. The quaintness of the courtyard, down to the smiles that are always there to greet you. Simply a delight! You will be asked to listen to a pitch for ownership but the stay is well worth it!

This property associated with BlueGreen is located on East Bay Street in the midst of downtown Charleston, next to several very good upscale restaurants, and an easy walk to art galleries, performance venues and other old Charleston sites. It is apparently a lodging rebuild in old warehouses / factories from bygone days. There is valet parking currently $18 a day...

We stayed here as part of their ownership promotion. We got 3 nights stay for 2 listening to a 2 hour pitch for ownership. Given that hotels in the area averaged $300+/night, it was well worth it. We got a small room but could have asked for a larger if we knew, but as it was, we spent very little...

We have stayed at the Lodge Alley many times. On our most recent stay we were visiting to tour College of Charleston with our daughter. We stayed in a one bedroom with a full kitchen. The history of the building adds to the charm of each room. We love being in the heart of Charleston just steps from the best...

My friends and I spent two nights at the Inn. The location was excellent for exploring Charleston. We had a two bedroom, one bath unit with a sofa bed and full kitchen. The unit was clean but was showing a bit of wear. The beds were comfortable and the three piece bath clean. The only drawback was the steep staircase...
