This was our 3rd visit to the Inn and we were bringing friends and had been bragging about breakfast and also the onsite restaurant. I called several days before we left to check the days the restaurant was open only to be told the restaurant was no longer in operation. I the asked about breakfast and was told that they...

Thank you for your review, we love to have feedback so that we can strive to be better! The restaurant was a totally separate business that provided breakfast for our guests and although we loved them they decided to focus on events and catering rather than a restaurant. With that turn of events we have partnered with 3 local restaurants...

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Beaufort Inn in early May. It was our second stay, having enjoyed the Inn exactly 19 years earlier for a part of our honeymoon trip. Since 1998 a lot of changes have occurred to the venerable place. The restaurant has disappeared as well as the included hot breakfast, but today's experience...

We visited Beaufort for one night and stayed in the main part of the inn. Very nice large rooms and bathroom was fine. Upon arrival we were advised the Inn doesn't serve breakfast but gives you a $10 per person coupon to three restaurant choices right near the Inn - worked out fine. Just make sure you get one coupon...

My husband and I travel all over the US, Caribbean and Europe and The Beaufort Inn has to be one of the best places we've ever stayed! It's so unique - historical but with all modern comforts. The courtyards and grounds are gorgeous and it's in easy wantling distance of restaurants, shops and town. Service is excellent as well. Just...

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Beaufort. We were in unit 220, across the street from the inn. It is an upstairs apartment/condo in an old brick building with 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and a closest with washer/dryer. At check-in the staff was very helpful in directing us to waterfront restaurants for dinner...

Every time we were in Beaufort and drove by the pink Victorian, we would say hmmm, I don't think we would stay there. As we've gotten older, we prefer our privacy and are not really interested in dining with strangers in the morning. We decided to stay in Beaufort overnight for the Air Show, and during my lodging research I...

The in is quite charming and the staff are great, especially the maintenance engineer. But you don't really want to be charmed by the maintenance staff. I hate registering complaints, so I almost didn't call about the tv issue. Then the next day, I complained about the cold shower (not good in a full price room). After another two days...

Thank you for review, we love the opportunity to learn and do better. When dealing with historic properties you'll find that some things are a little quirky, such as a backwards shower knob. I am happy our housekeeping responded quickly to the cleaning issue. We hate when things like that are missed, but it occasionally happens. We hope you will...

Our 2nd stay here. This is still a very nice place with a great location but they have lost the second "B" in B&B. Breakfast is no longer available on premises. They do give you vouchers to reduce the cost of breakfast acquired elsewhere but it's not the same as hot breakfast on site. The facility is still great...a main...

Thank you for your review, we love an opportunity to talk about our breakfast program here at The Beaufort Inn! Here at the Inn we have grown from a 12 room inn to 36 rooms and we no longer have room to feed all of our amazing guests here on site or the capacity to add onto a 120 year...

A wonderful old home that has acquired other properties in the block making the complex a great place to stay. Great staff and great bedrooms. A short walk to the Bay and the many shops and eateries along Bay Street. I can't wait to return. Beaufort is a smaller version of Charleston and Savannah with Live Oaks, Spanish moss, and...

My wife and I came to Beaufort in celebration of our 40th wedding anniversary. We were given a complimentary bottle of champagne as soon as we arrived. All guests are given breakfast vouchers for local restaurants. Our room was amazing. We were in the upper floor of the Carriage House (not the main building). It had a very private balcony...
