Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had a very quick overnight stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Warwick, RI. The hotel is very easy to get to as its right off the highway. There is a Dunkin Donuts and Gas Station nearby if those services are needed. We had a very quick check-in. I was acknoldged as a Marriott Bonvoy member a few times. Room was ready when I arrived and within a few minutes, I was in my room. The rooms are pretty large. We had a room with two queen beds. It also had a small sofa (not a sofa bed), table, Keurig Maker, and Refrigerator. My room was very clean when we arrived. The shower drain was very slow but there was plenty of hot water and water pressure. I was surprised the pool was closed as I was told it did reopen since COVID. But maybe it was just closed this weekend. I was not planning on using the pool so it wasnt a concern. I did have breakfast at the hotel in the morning. I did feel bad for the person working the breakfast. The person working breakfast took the orders and also cooked the food. Many of the breakfast items I was told was not available. Note to the hotel - hire additional staff for breakfast. The restaurant was not open for dinner altough a dinner menu was visable. In closing, the hotel is a good choice for us as it's very close to the City as well as the area we had to visit. If we have business in the area again, we would return.

This hotel is near the airport which is a plus, but hey have friendly staff that are pleasant. They offer breakfast and dinner options which is helpful when arriving in the late evening. The rooms are a little dated and are in the need of an upgrade or renovation. I have traveled across the country staying at Marriott hotels and this property is in a need of improvement

Good location but dated hotel. Small TV's compared to other hotels. Inconsistent with benefits. They offered a Breakfast Package and it was interpreted three different way for my three-day stay. The internet pkg offers $15/day food and beverage credit to be used anywhere but the coupon they gave me says good for breakfast credit only which contradicts the rate plan on the website. This is a common problem with many hotels where folks are not familiar with rate plans, and it leads to a confrontation with the client, not good!!!

What a wonderful experience we had this past week at this hotel. The staff was truly dedicated to their job performance. The rooms were very clean, more than spacious, comfortable and you were made to feel so welcomed at all times. We are from New Brunswick , Canada and travelled with family as our grandson was in a hockey tournament. The hotel was very accommodating to all our needs especially when times were tight to get to the games. I want to recognize front line staff ESPECILALLY ALISHA who really went out of her way on several occasions to address our needs in the most polite and respectful manner. She is a keeper for sure !!!!! Thank you again from the Steele and Welling families for making our stay so pleasant Alisha. We will certainly stay with you again when the opportunity prevails. I would certainly not have any hesitations to recommend this hotel. Great staff!

We frequently use Marriott’s for our stays, this wasn’t our best experience. Breakfast was just a bagel or toast, had to pay for coffee, I guess I’m used to a complimentary breakfast included. People above me were so loud all night long on our second night, didn’t get much sleep due to this. The pool was cold and the hot tub was too hot. The room smelled musky, the balcony roof off our room was pretty dirty and loaded with old cigarette butts. On a positive note, the water pressure was great, beds were comfy and ac was cold. The staff, especially Stacy and Izzy were friendly and kind, the bar was staffed by Stacy and she was great! Good location for where I needed to be.

It’s an odd location, in the old business/light industrial district, but easy to access and arrive/depart from. Hotel is a little old, common areas are updated and nice. Our room’s bathroom could use some updating as well as the mattresses, which is why they receive a 4 and not 5 stars. The dog boarding kennel next door was a little obnoxious as the dogs barked like crazy in the morning so ask for a room not on that side of the hotel if you do book it. Hotel staff was very nice. Our room had a mini balcony. We didn’t use it, but was nice to have. No breakfast included, but it’s a Courtyard and not a Fairfield/SpringHill/Residence Inn so we knew that going in.

Realizing that staff comes and goes, and can be hit or miss, we stayed for 6 nights here and experienced mostly wonderful service. After an unfortunate incident with the Bistro Bar on our first day, management quickly remedied our troubles to make up for the mishap. The following days were wonderful. Particularly spectacular service from Samantha at the Bistro and Mallory at the desk. Good employees set the tone for all places of business and these two were exceptional. Thank you.

I was here with a group of 18 people and we had a very ignorant and disrespectful experience. After a few e days 3 of our group encounters bedbugs. The hotel did not do much to support at all. Instead we got new rooms but it was the same. Actually the old rooms where occupied the same day to the next victims. The hotel has hired their own pest inspection company to take a look. They did it on both occasions we reported the bugs and the company says no evidence of pests found. This even as we had film and video evidence. Of course this is all dubious considering the evidence we have to the contrary, but Marriott will likely point to these reports and deny any of our requests.

Please read, nightmare experience, do not stay here if you want to be treated with dignity. When I came to check in the check in clerk almost charged me $400 extra because she didn't know how to put my credit card on file and check in took 45 minutes overall, she seemed highly inexperienced. Thereafter in the room when I tried to take a shower in the evening there was a lot of hair in the bathtub and it would not drain. Consequently I went to same the front desk to discuss with the clerk, she stated that I could not move rooms until the evening. I then requested to check out and attempt to gain a refund for the remaining nights of my due to the dismal experience thus far. The clerk was very defensive and raised her voice multiple times, and used the fact that I'd booked through booking.com as an excuse to not give me a refund. She told me I should forgo a shower altogether and just go to bed. After this lengthy altercation, the clerk finally got approval from her manager Ashlyn to refund me for the remainder of the nights of my stay. The next morning, I then proceeded to leave the hotel as planned the night before with the clerk and the hotel manager Ashlyn. Now I have learned from booking.com that I have not received a refund as the hotel clerk did not correctly check me out, despite me being very clear the night before that I would be ending my stay early (with managerial approval). From check in to check out, I have had an absolute nightmare of an experience. This is especially frustrating when I am in Providence for business, but am instead spending invaluable time being berated by hotel staff. The hotel still refuses to reimburse me for the promised amount by the manager Ashlyn.

Stayed here for 2nights. Room was good. Got the one with balcony. View is not much train on one side highway on other. Starbucks for breakfast is available not much available for food/ expensive. There is a Dunkin very close to the hotel. I had warm shower but not hot. My room was not made even though I left room at 10 in the morning. Industrial area not much around. Room is comfortable. Shower head had issues. Not going to stay here again.
