We absolutely loved our experience with Escobar's Farmhouse Inn. The Innkeeper Stuart, is the personification of gracious hospitality -- and I could write a book just about the magnificent breakfasts we were served! There were three of us on this trip, and the Walter Room was beautifully appointed and spacious. The Inn is meticulously cared for and just has a...

My daughter and I stayed here last summer and I have been meaning to write a review ever since. This place was just outstanding. The Innkeeper cooked us the best breakfasts! The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and really clean. However, from the outside, you would never know that this chic inn existed on the inside of a barn house. New...

We had an enjoyable weekend stay at this property. It feels so off the beaten path in relaxing farm country but is on the main road and very close to the action in Newport. It really is a quiet oasis in a lovely, restored farmhouse. The dairy farm is across the road and guests can visit or take a walk...

There is NO RESIDENT DOG - at Escobar's Farmhouse Inn. Do you have the Inn confused with somewhere else? Also there is no office in the sitting room - there is a check-in desk in the corner close to the main entrance which is maybe used 5 minutes a day for Check-ins. Also there is wireless throughout the Inn but...

We stayed at Escobars in early June and really enjoyed it. It was a very relaxing place to stay, and was convenient to Newport. We stayed in the Walter Room and really enjoyed it. It was a very spacious room, and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. The inn is really nice and Stuart cooked up some wonderful breakfasts. The afternoon...

I stayed at Escobar's Farmhouse Inn this past weekend June 7-9th 2013 with my boyfriend. What a wonderful place to stay. It was our first B&B and I can't wait to go back! We stayed in the Mary Room on the first level. We had our own tv, dvd player, walk out patio, full private bath, and ac unit. The...

What a nice place to stay. So serene and relaxing. Stuart was such a wonderful innkeeper. Breakfast was wonderful, and being able to walk right over to the farm was a great plus! Everything was clean and neat... Beautiful, simply beautiful!

We really enjoyed our stay in the Walter Room of Escobar's Farmhouse Inn. The innkeeper Stuart is welcoming and cooks beautiful delicious breakfasts. Everything about the Inn is beautiful and spacious. It is conveniently located to Newport and many area attractions. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to RI.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The inn was immaculate and beautifully decorated but welcoming at the same time. We enjoyed the central location. One of our favorite parts was having our delicious and beautifully prepared breakfast brought up to us in our room. My husband and I love the charm of B &B's but do not like to...

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Escobar's Farmhouse Inn after attending a family party in Portsmouth. We chose the inn based on it's proximity to the party. Little did we know that we would discover a place that we look forward to returning to again. The inn is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated. It is filled...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Escobar's Farmhouse Inn is owned by Jane and Louis Escobar, and run by Innkeeper Dawn. The inn is located across the street from Escobar's Highland Farm, one of Rhode Island's few remaining dairy farms. The farm was acquired by Louis' father in 1937. The Inn has always been a dream for Jane, and she has worked diligently for several years to create a comfortable "home away from home" for her guests. Each of the four rooms are named for Louis and Jane's parents, Tony and Mary Escobar, and Walter and Katherine Rzegocki. ... more   less

“One bedroom has the bath across the hall.”

“The Walter Room has two queen beds and a daybed, easily accommodating five friends -- it was lovely and spacious. The Katherine Suite, just down the hall, can easily fit a good-sized family -- it has a king bed, a queen bed, a double and a single -- AND has a full kitchen! Great for a family reunion or special occasion.”

“The Walter Room was a very large room and could accomodate a family. There was some road noise during the day, but was quiet at night.”
TheresaM590, 12 Jun 2013 | Read review
“The Tony Room does not have a private bath in the room. It has a private bath across a small hallway so if that bothers you, stay in one of the rooms with the private bath inside your room.”
