Opted to stay in a quaint location vs chain hotel. Room was very clean, beds/pillows comfortable. Flowers set this space apart from others and gives it a cozy atmosphere. Very small bathroom with no counter space for items, but wasn't a big deal for us. Terri, owner was very accomodating, friendly and helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions. Easy access...

The Sea Whale is very close to the road but has a wonderful back yard with a great view of the water (don't know what water, but water). There are chairs and picnic tables for the guest's use. The room was large and clean & has a refrigerator. It was just disconcerting to walk into the office and have the...

Thanks for reviewing our property. Just want to clarify a few issues mentioned in your review for those reading and not understanding the location of the building, etc. Yes, we are located right on the gateway to Newport in the Atlantic Beach District (Newport East) of Middletown. Our street, Aquidneck Ave. in Middletown runs right into Memorial Ave. in Newport....

A roadside motel with room entry directly from the parking lot is a bit old fashion, along with the room fixtures and low ceilings, but the stay was great! We enjoyed the close walk to the Public Beach, the local restaurants and the picnic benches out back overlooking a river scene. The bed was firm and we had a good...

What a great affordable place to stay. A wonderful waterfront view with comfortable chairs outside to relax and watch the water. Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms with WIFI and cable TV and plenty of parking. A great location and minutes from Newport. The owner I talked to was so nice and accommodating, she was very helpful.

We really enjoyed our visit. The room was clean and quiet. The mattress was very firm and comfortable. The view of Easton Pond is lovely. The hotel is older, and there are no fancy amenities. But there is free Wi-Fi, and a flat screen TV, a refrigerator and microwave, and plenty of hot water. My only suggestion is that the...

I have been on the road for over 3 years. I've visited 101 cities and reviewed 213 hotels and restaurants. This motel is not new. This motel is not fancy. This motel brings me back to my childhood! Road trips to the Poconos with my grandparents. Our cottage on the Cape. It's simple. It's clean. It's convenient to Easton Beach....

Gotta' give the Sea Whale the three "C's". Clean, comfortable and convenient! This hotel is very reasonably priced and provides quick access to Newport. The cliff walk is within walking distance, albeit not a short walk. However, just a short walk from the hotel is Flo's Clam Shack...good seafood joint! The owner checked us in to the hotel and made...

We were very happy with this motel. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. No complaints whatsoever!

Great place to stay! The owners are on the property and are very helpful with great suggestions on where to go, eat, drink and sit on beach. The accommodations were great and the location is perfect. We would definitely recommend this place to stay.
