We stayed as many did on their first night on the Gap trail. We were met by the owner and as we were the only people staying that night spent a fair amount of time chatiing. While the owners were very nice they were a touch too welcoming. It almost at times felt as if we were being interviewed. The...

When we arrived at Bright Morning the evening of May 18, 2017, we were a little tired, thirsty, and uncertain which house and room we were staying in. Suddenly, Mary Lou appeared, with a welcoming smile and showed us to our rooms. She also offered us a couple of very welcome beers! This was our first stop on our GAP...

This place is great. Really excellent. We stayed while riding the GAP trail and I would recommend anyone who has the opportunity, stay here. The room was beautiful. Rob & Mary Lou are the nicest people you'll ever meet and the breakfast was outstanding. Don't ride by. Stop and spend the night.

Our first day on the GAP bike trail was supposed to be easy. Only 40 miles. But we were beat when we arrived here. Luckily it was steps from the trail and we staggered up the stairs where Mary Lou greeted us. She made everything so easy, and she graciously showed is to our rooms in one of the four...

My wife and I rode our bikes down the Great Allegheny Passage bike trail, and spent a night at Bright Morning B&B. It faces the trail, and is a terrific place to stop along the trail. The inn is a beautifully-restored older home, and the rooms are very nice and well-decorated. Our host was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful, and...

Very comfortable and clean suite on our first overnight stay biking the GAP. Rob and Mary Lou are the nicest people. I have food allergies and Mary Lou's breakfast exceeded my expectations. Trail side restaurant/bar and bike shop within walking distance.

Mary Lou & Rob are never one to disappoint. Another great stay while riding along the GAP. 37ish miles from The Point to Bright Morning is the perfect distance to stop and spend the night. Clean rooms, garage to store your bikes and a hearty breakfast will fuel you until your next stop. Only sad note was that Rob was...

I can only sing praises for Mary Lou and Rob and their amazing B and B. Everything was perfect. In fact, they exceeded all my expectations. We arrived late afternoon, tired and wet after cycling on the GAP through one thunderstorm after another. We settled into the very comfortable room, took showers, washed our muddy cloths and put them out...

Our Christmas celebrations have grown with our family, and we no longer fit. My husband, brother, sister in law and I stayed at bright morning. The house is gorgeous, very large, and well taken care of. We locked ourselves out of our room on Christmas and had to call Mary Lou at 11pm to let us in. She gave us...
