This place is simply awesome. The setting is beautiful with outside tranquil spaces, under trees and a view of the Delaware river. Has a floating dock for swimming and kayaking. Staff and food are terrific. Been there a few times and can't wait for another visit. Thank you Claire and Karen.

My husband and I stayed at the Bridgeton House for a 2 day getaway. The location was beautiful, breakfast was great and the staff was helpful and kind. We stayed in the Delaware suite. Could not ask for a better room. We walked across the bridge to the Jersey side to get a take out lunch. Brought it back and...

I am a returning customer but coming to Bridgeton House feels like coming home. The exquisite scent that permeates the house, the decorative details and the uniqueness of each room make BH a place to visit at least once a year. While the location is exquisite, it's Clair who makes this place a home away from home. Her enthusiasm, attention...

It was so lovely welcoming you back. We love when guests make themselves at home and many of our repeat guests feel like family. Clair is a true gem with her enthusiasm as is the support staff who make it all happen behind the scenes. We look forward to welcoming you back again and again!

Let me start off by painting a back drop to this location...... Sitting river side on a quite corner intersection just west of the Milford bridge. Upon my arrival we were greeted by a girl named Clair. As she took the time to show us the property I couldn't help think, are people really this nice??? Being used to the...

Thank you, we are very happy you enjoyed your stay. Clair is our "energizer bunny" and you may find yourself wondering "how did she do that?" or "where did she come from?" as she is always readily available to meet our guests needs. We also have a wonderful and caring "behind the scenes" staff who take care of all the...

This Inn is so unexpectedly sophisticated! We are a bit spoiled, and I am here to say, the level of the decor, the service, the food at the Bridgeton House rival any boutique hotel anywhere - country or city! Add the incredibly beautiful setting and you could not ask for more! The charming staff, especially Claire are engaging, sincere, and...

And we can't wait to welcome you back. Our dedicated staff are true gems in the field of hospitality and love assisting guests with whatever their need. We really are a small boutique inn offering all the services you expect in a boutique hotel while maintaining the charm of a country bed and breakfast. Thank you again for your kind...

We were greeted by Claire, one of the InnKeepers. She was very critical of my husband for some reason she took an instant dislike to him. We had been driving quite a distance, and we were a little tired. She said to him, oh your not very enthusiastic, and oh you certainly are the quiet one. My husband is one...

I am so very sorry if you feel I was in anyway rude towards your husband. I tend to have a playful disposition and thought I was helping you prepare to relax and decompress from your travels. I am mortified that you took such offense as I love being an innkeeper and meeting people. Watching guests come in stressed and...

I was lucky enough to spend my birthday weekend here and had a wonderful time. Clare was great upon check-in and very helpful with recommendations, information and was very friendly. We stayed in room 4.... which was very nice. There were some nice soaps left out on the bed for my birthday- which was a really nice touch. The rooms...

We stayed in the Delaware Suite. It was beautiful. Very well designed and decorated. Very comfortable. Especially appreciated the screened covered deck off the room. Breakfasts were included and nice but not great. Little things missing like ice water. A small glass of huice and a coffee but that was it. Food was ok but not as great as advertised....

I've been staying at Bridgeton House since 2005, and my wife and I now go there every year. We just paid our annual visit, and it was--if possible--better than ever. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the breakfasts consistently good, the riverside setting beautiful, the grounds exquisitely well kept. Best of all, though, is the staff. You won't find nicer...
