I read all the reviews and I was a bit skeptical about staying here but had already committed with no refund. Much to my dismay, the room was very clean. I never saw any bugs or dirt. It is a very old hotel and does need some updating, but all in all I was not disappointed.

We booked this hotel for 2 rooms since it was close to Sesame Place. I travel frequently and this is the first hotel I have ever just up and left and went someplace else. I cannot say enough about how awful it was. The rooms are run down and not well cleaned (stains on floor, chipped beat up furniture, phones not working). In the stairwells there is a lot of graffiti. The elevator smells like dirty laundry. There are MANY people who are living in this hotel. You could smell marijuana all over the place. At the pool, there were many people drinking and smoking marijuana, while blasting loud hardcore music that was not family appropriate. This was at 4:00 in the afternoon on a Tuesday. We had 4 young children between the 2 of us and did not feel safe. There was a woman in a car passed out in the afternoon, some type of scantily clad person showed up with a U-haul and began unloading it. People are living in this hotel. The breakfast is a brown paper bag with some food for you to microwave and you have to ask the front desk for it. The view outside of one of our rooms was overlooking a portion of the roof. On the roof was a bra, panties and a bed sheet. This is not a safe or family friendly hotel. The area nearby with the shops and mall seem like a perfectly fine suburb, but this place is scary. We did not feel safe and did not feel comfortable leaving our possessions in the room and leaving. We left and found another place. Do not stay here!

Is way too much money for this type of hotel!I was not comfortable when we first got in there! Also come to find out it is really dirty, I didn’t have an issue with management so I’m not leaving this review because of that! But they also have roaches! I am complaining with no problem and leaving as soon as possible so this is just a heads up to everyone trying to go there.

Do NOT stay at this horrible place. I am a Choice hotel member and have stayed at this location before. My first stay was fine about a year or so ago. This stay was trash. The front desk lady was great and it goes straight to hell from there. The hotel reeks of weed and it's supposed to be smoke free. Our first room was missing the TV remote and see the picture of the inside of the microwave. The second room on a different floor, more weed, I tripped twice on the broken tile leading into the bathroom. Our window was open to air out the weed smell, someone had sat on the bed, the 🛁 was dirty. The couple next door had a whole fight in front of our door. Yelling, crying. Loud banging. Front desk said she saw it but the lady went willingly back into the room. The window on the side entrance was smashed, cigarette butts on the carpet. When the people next door shower you hear water dripping for 10 mins after. Crying baby at 4am and people yelling. I tried to reach the GM for 3 days. Then was told he was on vacation. I was told the domestic issue outside my door was not my problem. The GM will not return my calls. Corporate will not refund my money because the hotel is independently owned.
