This Father's Day weekend, my three cousins, myself, and my 6-year-old son returned to Rosemount Camping Resort for the weekend after a long absence. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by MaryGrace and Diane, who explained all the policies and answered all our questions. After setting up my own campsite, I began to help my cousin set up her tent,...

Was there Labor Day weekend. Place was packed. Dogs barking. There seemed to be 20 people at each site. Sites are close together. Showers were ice cold. Not the place to go to for peace and quiet. Felt like a combination of trailer park and refugee camp. Boring area to boot. Not much to do. Not particularly scenic.

I'm not sure what positive thing I can say. Tiny lots, kids running unsupervised all hours, constant barking dogs--three at a time. Then the quiet finally at 11pm interrupted by banging basketballs until midnight. If there are rules no one seems to follow.

Off the beaten path and nestled in the beautiful mountains, this place is retro and modern at the same time. If you have a big camper, it can be a little bit of a challenge to back into your site, but not bad. I have a 36' pull travel trailer and a long truck and got it in, in two...

Very poor, narrow, winding roads leading to the park. There was no one there at the office at 3:30 pm, just a difficult to follow note on the door. We drove through the campground twice. It looks nothing like the pictures on their web site. We did not see one person anywhere. Camp sites were difficult to back into even...

A back road way to get there, surprised us.. If you are coming from Rt. 78/Rt.61 intersection, use your GPU device, and allow it to send you to Rt.895 (a right turn exit) through the back roads to the campground. It was a treat to see unique buildings, darkened tree covered roads, and a section of rising hills that had...

Camped here on a long weekend in June with a friend of ours who grew up camping at Rosemount. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone to make my reservation was the same person who checked us in on arrival and new who I was the moment I walked in. He and the rest of the staff were very...

My family has been camping here for years. Lately there have been a group of young teens that are very rude and obnoxious to other weekend guests. These teens are apparently here every weekend and not really supervised by their families or camp staff. if you have young children beware!!!!! Unless you want them to learn some new words. These...

My husband and I visited this place for the first time, and I can not wait to go back. The people who own this resort, and the people that go there are just wonderful. I have never met a nicer group of people. They went out of there way to help us , when we needed it and the neighboring...
