This is a nice place. Great house and surroundings. You can ride horses if you aren't afraid of rats. They need cats or traps. Most have seen 4 or 5 scurry by while we were there. Hope none get in the house.

We met our New England family 1/2 way at The Galloping Inn for Christmas break. It was great--very serene and comfortable! Things we LOVED: -Terrific service from owners--always accessible, easy to contact, quick to respond! -It was so nicely decorated for Christmas! -the pellet stoves! These were stocked with pellets for our use :) -The big family room/bar with stone...

My husband and I spend three nights at the Galloping Inn. It is a charming old home that has been lovingly restored. It is huge! We could have fit ten people very comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking in. We relaxed outside, swam in the lake, and enjoyed exploring the countryside nearby. We took a side trip...

It took the group about an hour to relax and and drop our electronics. To our surprise, the dozen horses on the property ran out to pasture as we all just sat...

The kitchen is a wonderful gathering place with a fabulous granite table and the bedrooms are very spacious. The horses are beautiful and I hope that on...

“All of the rooms were spacious. We stayed in the parlor witch is like a first floor master suite. The Roust is a second floor master suite. There is second bedroom with two beds across from the Roust. All three of these bedrooms are in the main house.”
