Scottish Inns might be under new management but it is not well managed. We reserved a room here because they are "pet friendly" & we were traveling with 2 dogs. We called ahead to say we were arriving at 9:30 & learned that the office closes at 9. Luckily, they agreed to tape our room key to the office door....

I deliberately picked this place to spend the night and was a little disappointed. The room was large and clean but desperately in need of renovation. No bugs! The sashing on some of the door windows was missing. I didn't think these doors would have stopped anyone from breaking in. Kerry said that the place was going to be redone...

This place is terrible. It is very old and run down. We got to the Inn very late and they have taped our confirmation with all our personal information to the office door for anyone to steal and use our identity. We got in the room and the blinds on the door were missing pieces so anyone could see in....

I booked this room when attending our grandsons graduation. This was during the memorial day weekend so my choices were slim. I booked on line first before checking the place out. When I walked into the lobby I stated to the owner "what have I done? the ratings were terrible and I was sure I could not cancel. I met...

The room is in desperate need of refurbishing. The front door would not close properly so the dead bolt could not be set. The blind on the front door had broken slats. The adjacent window was filthy. The unit (bedroom & bathroom) smelled the stale motel smell. Maybe from old cigarette smoke? Oddly, the bathroom was the worst. The carpet...

Not a very good to place to stay. Shortly after checking in the toilet would not flush. I called the front desk and was told he couldn't do anything about it and he did not have any more rooms available. That we would have to deal with until morning. There were few autos on lot. It was late in evening...

Giving this inn a 1 star is being beyond generous, the room smelled as if it was thousands of years old and never properly cleaned, the a/c barely worked, the chair in the room had several stains, the carpet needed vacuuming, the bed sheets had yellow stains along with the bed cover, the bathroom ceiling had a hole and was...

We were appalled at the conditions of this hotel, and are seriously questioning if they are gaming the ratings system on booking sites in some way in order to have a higher score than they deserve. This hotel is filthy, and honestly it might even be a health hazard. We arrived on a Friday night, got our 2 rooms and...

My mom and I were driving a moving truck from NC to NJ on a rainy night. We had two small children with us. The hotel's "lobby" is not attached to the hotel. I walked up to the door where I read a sign that said I had to call a number to get someone to open the door. The...

Last minute reservation driving late at night. Picked this because #2 rated in trip advisor. Hotel clerk quoted $55. I told him I just checked online and it was $50. So he mumbled the website was out of date and gave it for $50. Very cheap but don't expect much. Old, simple, mostly clean. Surprisingly spacious room. My wife said...
