I was looking for a place to stay midway between MD and the Niagra Falls we were heading up to. I found the Cozy Afghan and Richard was very nice and said we could just show up and there would be a room for us. We stayed in the jacuzzi suite and our children stayed in the carriage house. It...

What a wonderful experience staying at the Cozy Afghan last week! Richard greeted me sharing the history of the home; built by blue collar workers for a butcher. The fireplace and staircase are Gorgeous and evidence of a time gone by in home construction details. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. It was quiet and peaceful; great...

My husband and I came up here to see the elk in Benezette, and it was only 25 minutes away. We have never stayed at Bed & Breakfast before. We stayed here for 1 night and were very pleased with the room, the house and the staff. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We enjoyed our French...

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this delightful B&B to view the elk in neighboring towns. The bed was very comfortable. The jetted tub was clean, worked well and was relaxing. The food was delicious, the staff was extremely accommodating, the price was great. The bathroom floor was so shiny my husband thought it was wet. We hope...

For 3-4 weeks, I stayed at a bed and breakfast, called the Cozy Afghan, in St. Marys, PA. The rooms were clean, large, comfortable and as I remembered my Aunt's house but with AC and a private bathroom. Breakfast each morning was delicious....if you needed any special food, just say so and it is there. The host was gracious and...

The room was extra comfy. The people are outstanding. The breakfast was better than at home. And the price was excellent considering the value for the dollar. The Best Western and Holiday Inn are both $50 per night more expensive and don't provide near the value. When I visit st. Mary's, which is quite often, I will continue to use...

If you've read the other reviews, they pretty much sum things up. This place is very well maintained (and there's a pool in the back, even), the host and staff (woman who cooks breakfast) are very nice and accommodating and the neighborhood is both quiet and friendly. The reason I'm even making a point about "quiet" is that St. Marys,...

Growing up in St. Marys I kind of knew what to expect. The Cozy Afghan was old, outdated and felt like staying at Grandma's house but that's kinda the point. The rooms were large but the bed uncomfortable. Not a lot of amenities but close to town and local night spots. Host was very nice and the building itself is...

“We stayed in a lovely large king room #56, it has the biggest bathroom you've ever seen with really old sink and tub, overlooks the back towards the pool and has a gas fireplace (turned off in summer). There are 3 other rooms which are comparable to ours, with large kings, although the first floor baths are more modern.”
