My kids really got a kick out of staying here. We have stayed twice so far and will be going back for a third time this summer. The caboose cars are cute but a little dim and dingy. When we stayed in a caboose with bunk beds the ladder was not attached to the bunks-just leaning against them. Not very...

Loved our visit to the Red Caboose! Our caboose was cozy and inviting. We stayed in car #30 and were delighted. Didn't know what to expect. We settled in and decided to relax then went out to check the outlets out. Got some great bargins and headed back to our caboose. We enjoyed seeing the Amish driving their buggies on...

This time we did not stay at the motel. We packed our lunch and off we went to enjoy the scenery and watch the trains go by. There are picnic tables but all were taken so decided to sit on the bench and eat our lunch. Had a front row seat as the train whistled down the tracks. The day...

Our stay at the Red Caboose Motel was very enjoyable. It was our first time back since the early 90's without children. The new owners are doing a great job renovating and improving the property and the staff is super friendly & helpful. There is a petting zoo, a movie every night in the barn and being December, carolers went...

Struggling on this one. The idea and thought of staying in the caboose is ultimately a unique and fun experience. Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. We stayed during a very slow time over the Holidays and believe they were short of staff possibly. The caboose where we stayed had carpet that was in need of serious cleaning and...

We had fun staying in the old caboose and the location was clean with many options for activities on the grounds such as a showing of the Polar Express. The Strasburg Railroad is a stones throw away and we were able to stand and watch the train go by. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious and...

This is a very nice motel in the middle of Amish country in Pennsylvania, and is a wonderful place to base daily trips from to all the local sites. The room we stayed in was actually much nicer and bigger than I anticipated and well maintained. We had breakfast twice at the motel's Casey Jones restaurant and it was solid...

Stayed here in Dec 2016 with my 4yo son and wife. We have been to Strasburg Railway a few times and decided to do the Night Before Christmas Train and then spend the night here. We arrived and checkin went fine; no issues at all. Upon entering our caboose, my son (certainly a HUGE fan of trains) was in heaven...

Very basic accomodations but perfect for young kids especially if they are in to trains. Units are not well insulated so a bit cold at night. We were fine, just bring some extra layers. Staff extremely nice and helpful. We really liked watching a movie in the barn. Very close to Strasburg railroad which is why we were visiting.

This place is unique. There are 38 cabooses turned into motel rooms. It is not a Marriott . It is a nostalgic place. The caboose we stayed in was nice but a little worn. We didnt bring any kids it was just my wife and I. We had a great time. It is on a farm right next to the strasburg...
