Booked my grandma's stay several months ago at a very guest friendly rate when rates were still reflective of COVID. We booked this as she has an annual visit at the Hospital near by. The hotel did let us know by email on June 16th, 2021. Grammy didn't check her email until the 4th of July weekend and now we need a place to stay for a week straight. Wish we would of at least got a phone call. We do understand that the hotel will close and a room will not be available. This is not good representation of Marriott.

This hotel was SUPER accommodating to us with two young children. They supported us with a pack and play (all the needed sheets too), a small microwave, extra blankets and much more to ensure our two small children were taken care of. Every staff member we encountered was warm, friendly and very focused on safety. I overheard several times staff asking visitors to wear masks and it was very appreciated!

Room Tip: We stayed on the 5th floor near the end of the hallway and it was very quiet and had a great view...

Stayed here overnight as it is close to work and there was bad weather coming. It is a very clean hotel. I cant comment on the restaurant, bar valet or common areas as all are closed right now. There is a Starbucks on the property that is open. Be advised they do not open until 7:30 so if you need to get to work or on the road early you are out of luck. My biggest complaint is the NOISY heater. Every time it came on during the night it woke me. It honestly sounded like a huge truck driving through the room. It was nice that there is a small fridge in the room but there is no microwave. I probably would stay here again but I am inclined to try another hotel close by.

This property is in a great location if you need to go to UPMC. Unfortunately, it is one of the only major brands in the area and seems to take this for granted. The valet is great - fast, reliable, courteous albeit $20 a night. The lobby is dated, dark, smells like food no matter the time of day. Rooms are 'old style' with the shower/tub and toilet in one room and the sink/counter in the entryway. Small spaces with worn out fixtures. Shower heads are rusted and spray water in crazy directions. HVAC is LOUD. Tissue holder is circa 1967 - the kind in the wall of the sink. On two stays within 20 days I had rooms with hair in the tub and/or sheets. Last night, I found a hand print in the sheets ... after I had slept in the bed. Yuk. The desk staff and bistro staff are great - they try hard to be service oriented. It is unfortunate that the condition of the building does not match their effort level. If ownership updated this property, it would be terrific.

My husband and I stayed here on 2/7- we were in town for a comedy show in Moon Township. (Worth the 35 minute drive to and from). They have ALL DAY on-site parking (valet only) for only $20; you can leave as many times as you like. Check-in was quick and easy, friendly front desk and valet associates. VERY CLEAN HOTEL, cannot stress that enough! From the lobby to the room, I was truly impressed! We stayed on the 3rd floor in one of the jacuzzi suites. Very quiet, like we were the only ones there. The bed was very comfortable, slept great! The jacuzzi worked great, very relaxing at the end of a long day- plenty of room for both my husband and I to fit comfortably. They have Paul Mitchell amentities. NThe refrigerator kept our drinks ice cold. They have coffee in room but I opted for the Starbucks right next door. Many food options within a few blocks. And "adult entertainment" less than a ten minute drive away. We did not have a single complaint- will definitely be staying here again in the future!
