I traveled with my girlfriend and daughter to Pittsburgh to celebrate her grandmother's 90th birthday. We stayed at the Priory hotel and it was overall terrific. I only have several minor issues with the it in my opinion, but I'll start off with the great things. The hotel was converted from a monastery, and has been beautifully decorated inside. The...

The Priory is a pretty special hotel. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the downtime you spend at the hotel gives you a delightfully surprising sense of history and place. The kind staff, beautiful renovations, and cozy little bar, are some of the much appreciated details that give this place an easy, warm energy and a subtle,...

We loved this hotel. Spacious rooms, brilliant wi-fi, great location. The most useful addition was the complimentary shuttle service which saved us lots of time and energy trying to find parking when going out in the evening. Thank you for a lovely stay - made the business much easier.

We stayed at the Priory in early October and greatly enjoyed our stay. Pros *Location: If you're big walkers like us, you can get to practically anywhere (PNC Park, Heinz Field, downtown, the Strip, Mt. Washington, you name it) *Shuttle service: For the few times that we used it (one morning it was raining and another was overly warm), it...

This is one of the best places to stay in Pittsburgh in my book. It quaint and the staff is outstanding, and some even remember your name!! No ever time we go to Pittsburgh of an extended stay or an over night, we stay at The Priory Hotel! Try you'll like it! And the Apple dumplings for brunch are to...

We all have our little 'issues' when it comes to hotels. For some it's the staff. For others it may be location. And for others it may be quaintness. And if a lodging falls short in any one of those areas, it gets excoriated. For me it's the shower. But everything else was terrific. The staff is wonderful. It's a...

This past summer my family and I hosted an 80th birthday celebration for my mother-in-law at the Priory. All of the staff at The Priory helped us pull off the big surprise and the event was fabulous. We had a catered dinner that was delicious, the service was outstanding and a number of our guests stayed overnight. The rooms are...

The Priory was wonderful! The facility and the staff were amazing! The facility is an old monestary they turned into a bed and breakfast. They kept all of the original woodwork, doors; etc.--absolutely gorgeous! And free parking and free shuttle service to PNC Park!

This property is beautifully renovated in a transitional neighborhood. While it is somewhat safe, there really isn’t place one can stroll for shops and restaurants. The Andy Warhol Museum is just 3 blocks away and “downtown” Pittsburgh an easy walk across the 7th Street Bridge. The hotel runs a shuttle (by reservation) so they can pick you up or take...

I don't know if I would love this location if not for its proximity to the baseball stadium. Didn't hear gun shots or anything but you wondered... Hotel has lots of character. Bed was very comfortable and the shower, although small, had good water pressure. We left too early in the morning to take advantage of the included breakfast but...
