By coincidence, I just returned today from another fabulous stay at Porches and asked the owners your question. Room 11, which is in a separate building from the main house, is a lovely room that is ground level and has a seat in the shower. (I stayed in this room on a previous visit and loved it.) All of the beds in all of the rooms are high, however, so depending on the handicap, that might be an issue. There are a few steps (three or four) that must be climbed going into the main house where where breakfast is served on the porch in nice weather and in the dining room off season, but they will also deliver breakfast to your room upon request. I would suggest calling the management with more specific details about the handicap to ensure that Porches is an appropriate accommodation. It certainly is fabulous from all other perspectives!
