Where to begin about this amazing place? My wife and I wanted/need a weekend away for our anniversary. I looked at a few places online, and wanted to look for a place In New Hope because that is where my parents go every year since I was a kid to getaway. Now it’s my turn. I also had chosen New... My wife and I celebrated our 13th anniversary with an overnight stay in the Scarlet Tananger room. Roy and Scott were wonderfully welcoming, the historic home was spotless, and the fire pit off the front porch was so relaxing for a crisp fall night. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, blueberry cardamom muffins, and quiche Lorraine, served kindly... More

Great B&B. Beautiful grounds, fabulous breakfast, and Roy and Scott the owners were terrific. The room was spotless with TV and Internet. They could not have helped us more. Amenities galore like 24 hr self serve hot and cold drinks, outdoor and indoor sitting areas and everything to make you feel relaxed.

Thoroughly enjoyed Roy and Scott's hospitality, friendliness, and yummy breakfasts. we were in a suite on the third floor, and, although we're both on the downhill side of seventy and the stairs were steep and narrow, we enjoyed the period charm. our stay was made even nicer by... Just spent two fabulous days at the Pineapple Hill Inn hosted by owners Roy Scott and Scott Stern. The rooms are beautifully decorated ,with fireplaces in the bedrooms, by Roy. The breakfast is homemade by Scott, who is a wizard in the kitchen. The service friendly and pampering. What a great romantic place to escape to in Buck's county where... More

We spent two nights at this B & B. Great hosts, great breakfast, clean well appointed rooms. This will definitely be our first choice if we visit the area again. Highly recommended. Comfortable beds and quiet (in spite of being located on a semi-major road) helped us sleep well.

A stay in this 1790 farmhouse in New Hope, PA will definitely be a highlight of your trip. We were in town to see the fall colors and covered bridges on our way to our sons graduation from the USCG in NJ., We wanted something different and unique and found it in Roy and Scott's gracious style, hospitality, cuisine, local... My husband and I came to Pineapple Inn for my birthday and had a wonderful experience. This was also our first time staying in a B&B and the Pineapple Hill Inn set the standard very high. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Enjoy the charm of a beautifully restored colonial manor house built in 1790. Set on almost 6 acres, this Bucks County bed-and-breakfast rests between New Hope's center and Washington Crossing Park and also within minutes to Peddlers Village. The History: In the 1700s it was customary to place a pineapple on your front porch as a way of letting friends and neighbors know you were welcoming guests - we hope you'll always feel welcome at Pineapple Hill. The Inn: The eighteen-inch walls and original wide plank pumpkin-pine flooring at Pineapple Hill exemplify a craftsmanship long forgotten. On the grounds, the walls of a stone barn enclose a beautifully hand-tiled pool. throughout the property, are many of the original stone ruins, now enhanced by lovely perennial gardens. The ruins of the original summer kitchen surround an outdoor sitting area. A gourmet breakfast is served daily in our sun filled dining room with fireplace. Your breakfast can also be enjoyed on our outdoor verandah. Each morning a different hot entree is prepared, maybe French Toast, Eggs Benedict, quiche, or another treat, whatever dish the day brings it will be made each morning with fresh local ingredients and served at individual tables. Special dietary needs are always accommodated. During the day, assorted iced beverages are provided with a homemade taste sensation. Our living room with fireplace offers yet another wonderful place to relax. ... more   less
